Pros: it's light weight and compact. The stand is superb as a pot support for a 750ml cup or small to medium pan.Cons: the burner is noisy for an alcohol stove. Quality control needs to be better as 2 jets fail to bloom correctly causing incomplete combustion and excessive fuel consumption.I sent a previous one back because of the same issues. Other alcohol stoves i own, the Goshawk heat accumulator and Tomshoo siphon can easily boil 600ml of water on 25ml of fuel. This struggles and mostly fails because of the issues. I will be contacting Toaks directly to get a response about this as Amazon would no doubt replace it, but the manufacturer needs to get first hand feedbackIf you get one that works correctly I imagine it's good but be prepared to return. I'm going to recycle the burner if Toaks don't come through with a solution or replacement burner and keep the pot stand as it is compatible with other alcohol stovesIn summation the the original is not necessarily the best and you might want to build a cook system using other brands.
