Cheap and cheerful fix. Wife's ensuite loo was not refilling quickly so installed this. Works well.Happy wife happy life.

I'd been putting off replacing the fill valve in an understands loo as the last one was a pain to fit. This was very cheap (£8), came with no instructions, but was a breeze to fit & worked perfectly well. There are others with higher spec, but this works fine for now.

I purchased this to replace my existing system because my toilet continually ran water.You need to be ready to cap off the water, if you are lucky your flexi pipe will have a value that you can half-turn to close. This will turn off the water pressure and allow you to replace the unit.I had no difficulties fitting this and its because it is much more compact than my original I can close the cistern lid fully without issue.

Its useful to have a spare flush system, but I'm not convinced this is the one you want. The quality is poor, with a plastic screw thread rather than brass and poor quality retaining screw. The unit does extend though so you can increase the water level in the cistern to your desired level and you can also adjust the float level. When I come to replacing the flushing mechanism in my toilet though I would rather use a better quality unit.
