Used for a month now with no real problems, my only issue is that the search function isn't great at finding points of interest but I cross reference it with Google maps and find the place that way

I use this gps 520pro for busMy bus is 12m 3.75 high.....This gps drive me in Brussels into a tunnel with 3.5t and 3.5 m high limit....i use this road for the last 8 years and it huge mistake from TOM TOM

First unit lasted a week or two before packing up.Apparently software issue when it updatedSecond unit no problems at all updated software and maps no problemsGreat device for coach driving would recommend.I think the first one was just a faulty unitI will base my recommendation on the replacement second unit.

I wasn't a fan of Tom Tom Navigation devices, I actually used a Becker device for several years. This item is used daily for work and its ease of use, volume and display are all positive. I would recommend this Navigation device to any Trucker out there.

so...it's gets me to where i need to go...so far.Some niggles are present however.The voice navigation menu activated by itself while I was looking at the map during driving...which prevented me from looking at map and had to wait for the option to cancel it ! this happened just once thus far in the 3 days I have used it.Many roads are out of date according to speed restrictions... common routes travelled say 30 mph when for the last 20 years it's been 40 or 50 mph. Previous tomtom got it right.setting to avoiding unpaved roads STILL does not work as with all other tomtom's i've owned. Ridiculous !!!The zoom / map display is not as good as my larger screened tomtom that I owned previously. it's seems fuzzy with lower resolution and less informative in regards to street names and ability to keep my chosen zoom setting. auto zoom options are for: road type?... it doesn't tell me what road type that applies to, and when set to zoom into next turn...it fails to zoom.Guidance view options... setting to 3D will keep your arrow facing straight up which is great for me as it sees the road as you see it in front of you ... yet the 2D setting will only follow direction of travel so you look forward yet the sat nav faces towards a compass rotation..... stupid !!!! 2D option should allow to disable "in direction of travel" my previous tomtom Go 60 did not have this issue...it allowed in 2D and 3D to have the arrow always facing upwards and the map rotated accordingly.The mount that is supplied is of very good quality yet for my van.... I wish I could have a non extended neck version. for transit custom only allows it to mount to the right side of the dash. I want it mounted just above the radio screen but it blocks my view of the road... mount it to the windscreen and it blocks my view of the road etc etc etc... this nav really needs more mounting options in my opinion. Had to buy an alternative mounting kit.Update: the voice navigation has now activated by itself 6 times.Its rebooted itself once while I was using voice to enter an address !I have been unable to link my accounts with MyDrive.. the app on my PC just refuses to work.The maps are not as good as my older tomtom... how is this possible ?? this new one wanted to take a route through an RAF base ! previous TomTom didn't do that.Quite pathetic really...wishing I could go back to using my older TomTom G0 60
