I bought this because the product specification seemed to indicate that it was for “big dogs”. My male GSD pulled the twisted holder out of the ground with ease so I wrapped it around the grab handle at my back door. The plastic cover on the lead “ripped” quite quickly in a number of places leaving the metal exposed. After only 2 weeks the metal inside the plastic cover just frayed and literally snapped meaning that my dog was loose and not tethered, thankfully he was in the garden and couldn’t get out but if it had been elsewhere then it could have been a very dangerous situation!I DO NOT recommend this if you have a big dog, it may be useful for something like a chihuahua but certainly not an adult male German Shepherd.

Sturdy and strong which is perfect for my dog who pulls on her lead but with this she’s not going very far!

Exceeded expectations, especially for the price. The anchor is very sturdy and the dog is very happy with it.
