Würde funktionieren, wenn das mir gelieferte Teil keinen Wackelkontakt gehabt hätte. Musste die Stecker gegeneinander drücken, um einen Kontakt herzustellen, dann konnte man die Lampe dimmen. Leider wurde die Stromzufuhr nach dem loslassen des Steckers sofort unterbrochen. Was mir auch aufgefallen ist, dass das Netzteil der LED-Lampe einen hohen Dauerton erzeugt, wenn man die Lampe dimmt. Kann aber natürlich auch am Wackelkontakt des Dimmers liegen. Daher geht das Teil zurück. Ich habe mich für ein anderes Produkt entschieden, das einwandfrei funktioniert.

Das Teil hat nicht funktioniert!!! Ich werde die Teuren leuchten in den Müll werfen und mir selber etwas bauen was auch funktioniert!!!

Die Drähte im Inneren sind direkt auf die Platine gelötet und nicht gut. Einer meiner Drähte kaum hatte kein Lot auf sie und schließlich gelöst. Ich weiß, wie man lötet, also musste ich es aufbrechen, um es wieder anzulöten, damit es wieder funktioniert. Das ist zum Glück nicht schwer. Wenn jemand weiß, wie man lötet, sollte er es vor einer Rückerstattung reparieren. Ich bin auch kein Fan davon, wie die Abschaltung erfolgt. Obwohl sie Dimmstufen hat, beginnt sie zu dimmen, schaltet sich dann aber fast augenblicklich ab.

Entgegen einiger anderer Rezensionen kann ich nichts aussetzen. Der Timer wurde angesteckt (Steckverbindungen stabil ohne Problem), auf 8h eingestellt (6,8 und 10 std sind möglich). Seitdem läuft das. Kein Flackern, kein Rumprogrammieren, „Sonnenauf- und -Untergang“ macht er von allein. Anleitung gibts online.

es funktioniert einwandfrei. reduziert den Stromverbrauch. Vor dem Einschalten gibt es einen Sonnenaufgang, nach 8 Stunden beginnt die Lampe von selbst auszugehen, es sieht aus wie ein Sonnenuntergang. Fische mögen es. Ich empfehle dieses sehr gute Produkt.

Just received the Twinstar LED Dimmer/Timer. I have been really disappointed with Twinstar's lack of accessories in general, and the quality of this LED Dimmer in particular (the ONE accessory they offer that I am aware of).Please refer to my attached photos:The connection is so loose (#2) that I had to wrap it with electrical tape so it would not fall out on its own and disconnect.And connection #1 is so tight that I was afraid I might damage it by forcing them together.At first I was sure this dimmer was not meant for this particular Twinstar ( Ver. III SP Series Pendant) light. But I managed to shove them together and it works.For such an expensive light fixture I expect much better quality control - and while we're at it how 'bout some much neededaccessories, like reflector shades for one. The light spill into the room is blinding with these lights! Twinstar doesn't offer them.I discovered Chihiros aquarium lighting since this Twinstar purchase and they are SO MUCH BETTER. I have them on all my other tanks and they blow Twinstar away in quality, price (still not inexpensive mind you), available accessories, and spectrum control via their pretty good app.I have not yet had the chance to evaluate the timer mode with this dimmer as I have only just received it. It will take 24 hours to see how that works and if I'm able to add to this review after the initial posting I will add my experience here.EDIT: I have been able to observe the timer function and it worked just fine (1 time/24 hr cycle so far). It's primitive, you have to wait until the time of day you want the light to turn on and then set the timer to one of only 3 choices for a duration of either 6, 8, or10 hours. The light then turns off at the selected interval, and back on again the next day at the time you began the cycle.Again, for the price of these Twinstar lights you'd THINK they'd have included a timer. But no, in fact Twinstar doesn't even include and ON/OFF switch! Just total disregard for the user/purchaser of their product.I should freaking deduct another star as I get more disgusted the more I think about this expensive light's shortcomings. But I'll leave it at 3 stars as I originally submitted. The quality of the light itself is good. And it's very powerful and the spectrum makes the reds in my tank pop beautifully.This dimmer really is a must have I believe in order to get the best out of these lights. It's just a crime they are not included as part of a light kit from the jump.I would suggest you look to other manufacturers who care about their customers and give you a lot more for your money. If I had to do it over again I would definitely not spend the money on a Twinstar. Have a look at Chihiros and see what I'm talking about.

Habe den Timer für mein kleines Aquarium 50 & 70 ltr benutzt. Preis /Leistungsverhältnis ist ok.

Ich habe mir 2 dieser Dimmer zugelegt. Es funktioniert sehr gut. Mir ging es hauptsächlich darum das ich die zweite LED über den Becken etwas Drossel kann. Preislich ist unschlagbar und sogar günstiger als in manch anderen Onlineshops für Aquaristik.
