I'm relatively happy with the cover. Good price. Well built. I held back to 4 stars because I purchased it for the S1 Pro+ and it fits a little looser than I would like and also feels like it could be made a tiny bit longer and I wish it would stay on better. Of course, when the speaker is upright, on the floor or on a speaker stand the cover stays on (by gravity), but when I lay it down in a rolling bag, which I use for transporting the speaker to a gig, the cover tends to slide off too easy.I think it will be an easy fix: I'm going to tighten the small elastics that are at the corners of the bottom of the cover, or I'm going to add a light strap of velcro or elastic across the bottom of the speaker, or do both.Other than those minor things, I'm happy with the design of the cover. I was torn between just buying a simple cover that I would pull off when in use. No worry about accessing the controls or sound coming through the cover. Seems like a simpler way to go: the speaker is either covered when not in use or uncovered when you use it — period. But I decided I'd at least give this cover a shot, and in the end I think I like it and am glad I went this way.The velcro'd flap that allows access to the controls, as well as the mesh that allows the cover to stay on when the speaker is in use both work good. I can play the speaker with the cover on and the front of the cover seems open enough that I cannot imagine it is cutting any sound, however, at the same time, it feels like the material is thick enough that it is still providing some scratch protection to the front grille. I've used it both ways, taking it off to play a gig or leaving it on. I will say, with the S1 Pro+, I can use the phone app to control the speaker, and the wireless transmitters to connect guitar and mic. So, after I pull the transmitters out, the flap can be closed and the speaker is very protected.I like that, especially when I've left the S1 on the floor, rather than up on a speaker stand; the controls and speaker feel more protected from dust and dirt while it's in use. Ease of transport and quick set-up is what using an S1 is all about, so not carrying a speaker stand and just leaving the speaker on the floor seems to be the way I'm going more and more. Plus, I actually think the speaker might sound a bit better when its down on the floor, even though it may not project over the heads of listeners to the back as well. But dispersion is so good out of the S1 the room still seems covered with sound.
