Would definitely recommend. The short cable is just enough so that the cable comes out of the mess of other USB-connectors and USB-dongles, so that you can easily unplug and re-plug a different 3.5 connector.There doesn't seem to be any noticeable noise or anything, seems to work perfectly. Auto-detected in Windows, driver installed automatically within seconds.

„Plug & Play“ – und zwar ohne Drama! 🎶 Wer sich schon mal über einen kaputten Kopfhöreranschluss am PC geärgert hat, wird diesen kleinen Helfer lieben. Einfach einstecken, und schon tönt der Sound glasklar aus den Boxen – ohne dass der PC schnaubt wie ein Dieselmotor im Winter. 🚀 Die Klangqualität? Solide, kein Konzertsaal, aber für Games, Meetings und Musik völlig ausreichend. 🎧

イヤホンジャックからの出力が安定しない(音が出たり出なかったりする)ため購入。USB経由で確実に音が出るようになりました。ただしそのままでは音が大きすぎるので、ボリュームコントローラを間に噛ませて使っています。

comme idiqué : le microphone fonctionne uniquement sur la prise jack TRRS (4 pôles). Un test rapide avec un jack stéréo avec 2 micro electret m'a indiqué que cela ne fonctionnait pas. Bizarre (?)

Nach langem suchen habe ich endlich einen funktionierenden Adapter gefunden der auch mit meinem Hyper X Cloud Alpha funktioniert. Soundqualität ist jetzt soviel besser als mit der Onboard Soundkarte. Kann ich wirklich nur empfehlen!

The audio from my son's 4-pole headset wasn't working, specifically his mic was coming in at -54 dB, when connected to his PC (case or mobo audio). Through my research it seems to be a prevalent problem with ASUS motherboards going back to 2013 and platform agnostic (AMD or Intel). Upon finding this adapter, I bought it as a possible solution and it worked!Complete plug and play: open up the package, connect to the headphone 3.5mm jack, plug into PC. Bam microphone could be heard at full volume, which was the issue when connecting his gaming headset normally.Bottom line, if you are having audio issues or you have a 4-pole, trrs, 3.5mm jack and your device you're trying to use your headset on doesn't but does have USB, give this a go.

I needed a USB Sound Card Dongle for my Amateur Radio applications running on a Raspberry Pi 400. Unfortunately on the Raspberry Pi 400 the USB sockets on the rear are at the minimum spacing, and thus anything wider than a standard USB 'A' plug device would overlap the adjacent socket. This adapter had a plug that is the standard width, and it fits perfectly leaving room for the adjacent plugs. In addition, the device is automatically recognised by the O/S, as it is certified for Windows 7/8.1/10 and Linux. In order to use the audio inputs and outputs a TRRS (Tip-Ring-Ring-Sleeve) adapter is required to break out the mono microphone and stereo audio signals, but these are inexpensive and readily obtainable. When used with my Windows-7 and Windows-10 laptops, once again it is automatically recognised and provides excellent sound quality on playback via either headphones or powered speakers. In this case, a standard boom microphone/headset with a TRRS plug fits perfectly, and requires no additional breakout adapter unless you wish to use a headset with separate headphone and microphone connections. The mechanical construction is excellent, with a substantial, well protected audio cable, terminated in a free socket that has a positive 'click' connection when the mating plug is inserted, it is not likely to accidentally come loose. All in all, an excellent, well-made accessory that performs its intended function perfectly.

While there are countless USB C cables for your phones, this is the one you need for your PC. I've tried USB C cables on PC and they didn't have enough gain. This one preserves all the sound you can hear digitally.
