Using this on our 08 WK1 SRT8 (Grand Cherokee). Right out of the box, it looks like a better build quality than the $10-18 stats. This replaced a regular Motorad stat (not Ultra Stat) on a tuned vehicle (180*)

Great Upgrade! Highly Recommend the UltraStat 180 Degree ThermostatI recently installed the UltraStat 180-degree thermostat, and I'm genuinely impressed with the results. This was a straightforward upgrade that has made a noticeable difference in how my engine runs.The build quality of the UltraStat is excellent – it feels solid and well-made, giving me confidence in its durability. Installation was relatively simple, fitting perfectly without any issues.Since putting this 180-degree thermostat in, I've observed my engine running consistently cooler, especially in stop-and-go traffic and during warmer weather. It seems to maintain a more stable temperature overall. While it's hard to quantify exact performance gains without dyno testing, the engine feels smoother and perhaps a bit more responsive, which I attribute to the cooler operating temperature. High quality, great price.If you're looking for a reliable and effective way to help your engine run cooler, the UltraStat 180-degree thermostat is definitely worth considering. It's a quality product that delivers on its promise.

Worked great on my 2011 Overland 5.7 Hemi, no issues. Keeps it cooler with a 180 deg vs the 203deg

Last Gates ultrastat only lasted 9 months, so hopefully this stainless redesign lasts longer. All thermostats seem to be made by Motorad now, just different brand names.
