Very black ink, no need to go over a line twice with this. If you're used to Winsor and Newton, you'll find it takes much less ink to make a dilute wash of the same density.Don't spill it, and invest in some little funnels and disposable pipettes to manage it.

I’ve now got a bottle of the more expensive drawing ink, and a bottle of the Indian ink from Talens, and I can’t see or feel any difference between them. Both are blacker than any other ink I’ve ever used, both are waterproof and will stand up to pro markers being used over them on smooth paper as long as you leave it dry for an hour or so. Both work fine off dip pens and brushes and dilute to a nice neutral grey wash — neither cold nor warm — so you can watercolour over the washes without getting muddy-looking patches.I like it a lot. This big bottle is great value too, as it goes a long way. The ‘nozzle’ isn’t great for pouring into small cups but that’s about the only complaint I have, and it’s easily overcome.

Ausguss der Flasche übelst, zum direkten Auffüllen kleiner tuschefässchen nicht geeignet, muss man halt mit Trichter machen oder ganze Flasche umfüllen ...sonst sehr gutes PLV.
