I have used normal lancets but as I have think skin due to gardening ! I find I an constantly Re pricking my fingers! So has a read and these looked worth a try I ordered the extra version well not totally pain less but pricked quickly enough blood to use in monitor very happy with product they also fit in my yellow sharps box off GP safe once used you replace the grey lancet cover for safety as say personally preferred as less messing about sharpe enough to draw blood would recommend
