Seems to be just as good as a Mercury Marine belt. Mercury Marine belts are made in China also.

Thought this would be a good less expensive option for the Quicksilver 865615Q04 belt. It fit well but after first trip out on the lake I noticed little shreds of rubber coming from the ribbed side of the belt in my bilge area. I keep the bilge clean so it was easy to notice. Thinking maybe it was just breaking in I let it go. The rubber continued to disintegrate to the point that when I got home yesterday I noticed a full strand of the belt had come off and was laying in the bilge. Feeling fortunate that I made it back home with only 2/3 of the belt remaining I promptly replaced it but the poor quality of this belt is unfortunate. I did check all my pulleys for sharp edges, ensured tension of belt was correct this is just a poorly made belt.
