These are good for the most shooters. There is a small rotation stop set screw in the spigot, and if you remove the screw you can mount the adapter below the rifle and still use the bipod on bottom rail firearms.

Had a Vortex 2-7x32 mounted low so had to change to tall mounts that raised the scope above the bipod once it was attached to the rail. Took a bit of trial and error to make sure the bipod could be installed on the rifle, removed easily and cleared any other mounted hardware. I actually like the scope better higher so installing this bipod has been a win-win for me. Very pleased with the quality. Looking forward to going to the range to check it out.

I am liking it so much that I've taken all my cheap super garbage CVLIFE bipods off my rifles and now I share this one between all of them. Since I can only shoot one at a time, it works. Anyway, it's not going to make you a better shooter through magic but it'll let you get more comfortable faster and that counts. Especially under stress, whether you're scoping a yodie or someone's scoping your forehead and you got to shoot and scoot, this helps. Those reviews that say this thing is heavy, I don't really understand. Maybe there's some magical 2 oz. bipods I don't know about but so far this is maybe 30% heavier than what I used before, which is not much at all objectively. And let's face it, the weight difference of about that of a wallet is not going to suddenly pop up a message over your head saying "You're overencumbered and cannot run!" Like just chuck that yeast smelling moldy hard tack and jerky from the bottom of your pack and it'll be fine. Also heard people say this is over-engineered. I don't agree. It's scratching like crazy already because I actually use it in the field and bang it around. Scratches I don't care about but the pivot point screw worries me. Desert sand has already gotten in there and it's a bit crunchy. If there's a rubber gasket then that thing will be toast in a few weeks. But honestly this thing is so good, so much better than its trash predecessors that I don't care. I'll either fix it or spot weld it into a single unit. The detach function makes me pitch a tent in my pants late at night. Sooooo nice. It's what makes sense. I think it's absolutely essential if your kicking in doors with like a 10.5" SBR and you dont' want this goofy thing flopping around were a baddie can grab it. And you can still leave it in your pack or hanging off your plate carrier, giving you the flexibility to take precision shots if needed.Just to give you an idea about my expertise regarding rifles, I am very experienced at LARP-ing. So, you know, trust me. I know what I don't know. Now I have no LE experience, never went to war, barely been hunting three times and my girlfriend legit has bigger war b**ls than I do because she goes to work in a uniform and I go to work in an orange vest. But that's besides the point. The point is, don't listen to me because I know what I'm talking about. Listen to me because frankly I am no less reliable than an actual expert. You ever seen an expert? They lie more than a married man coming out of a brothel.

I have read several reviews stating this has more flex than the PRS bipod 😳. First off this is like $130 the PRS is $500. The PRS is meant for bench rest shooting and in my opinion is too stiff for dynamic shooting the UTG over bore has a 15 degrees of panning which if you have the legs planted give you a definite advantage in field hunting. It’s built solidly and allows perfect alignment on uneven surfaces. Also the legs come with removable rubber pads or spikes. Great bipod.

I've used many different bipods. This is by far the best. Mounted it on my AR15 with Vortex Venom 5-25x56 I was concerned it would obstruct my field of vision, it does not. Rifle hangs true with the ability to maneuver. Legs are super sturdy and lock firmly. I assure you I am an actual buyer and owner gets 5 stars all around. You are doing yourself an injustice if you purchase anything other than this one.Now for the Cons: only con is the price, I paid $169+tax from Amazon. I purchased the second one from Optics Planet for $143+tax with free shipping only took 3 days to get it. Could have saved some $$$
