This unit is designed to keep wires organized beneath your desk. The unit has a total length of 49”, and includes a heavy base, a magnetic attachment, and an attachment that can be screwed in place. So you can use it on metal or wooden desks. The “vertebrae” snap together easily and can be separated with a bit more effort (which is a good thing). You can use as many or as few “vertebrae” as you like. One excellent application is for a standing desk where a rigid cable management system is not practical. The “spine” flexes and allows an infinite amount of positioning. But the feature that I found most interesting was not even described in the features - cables can be added by inserting them from the sides of the vertebrae. This was a relief to me since I did not relish the idea of feeding one wire at a time down a flexible channel. But if you examine the vendor’s third picture you’ll see that the sides are not solid, but cut. This allows you to have a wire join the channel at any point, and then leave at any point. That’s amazing!Five stars for good design and lots of flexible (sorry!) features

This is such a smart and cool way to finally get all those cables for your smart desk under control. I’ve tried using ties and even those cable sleeves, but they’re really not the best way to keep wires under control as you raise and lower your desk.Getting it set up is pretty quick as each spine has an opening on each side that allows you to insert wires one at a time without worrying about one slipping out. And I really like the inclusion of one spine with a magnet that you can affix to the lower desk leg to hold it in place. And the fact that you can place it at a height that works best for you is a game changer. And the base does a good job anchoring the spine so it doesn’t move when you lift and lower your desk. Wasn’t sure how well that would work as I have carpet under my desk, but it actually has a really good grip and hold.I wish I had this sooner to deal with my standing desk cable mess as this makes everything so much cleaner - highly recommend!

This cable spine has finally solved the chaotic tangle under my standing desk that I've been fighting for months. At 49 inches, it's long enough to manage the full height range of my adjustable desk without straining when fully extended. The spine itself feels surprisingly substantial - each vertebra has a quality heft to it, not the flimsy plastic I expected. The magnetic links are cleverly designed, allowing for easy customization of length while maintaining a secure connection.Installation couldn't be simpler - the steel base attaches firmly to the floor with non-slip pads that genuinely stay put without adhesives damaging my hardwood. The top attaches securely to the underside of my desk, creating a professional-looking solution rather than an obvious aftermarket add-on. What impressed me most is how the spine flexes smoothly as my desk moves up and down, without kinking or binding even at extreme heights. The capacity is excellent - I've managed to route power cables, monitor cables, Ethernet, and even my keyboard and mouse cables through it with room to spare. The segments open easily for adding or removing cables without disassembling the entire spine. Beyond just hiding unsightly cables, it's actually improved the ergonomics of my workspace by preventing cables from catching or dragging as the desk height changes. For anyone with a standing desk or multiple monitors, this spine offers a solution that's as functional as it is aesthetically pleasing.

I used this to tame the mess behind my TV stand, and it definitely made things look cleaner. The base is sturdy and stays put on our hardwood floors, and you can snap them in from the side which is MUCH nicer than having to thread them all the way through!!It does take a bit of effort to get everything in - especially thicker power or HDMI cables - but once you’ve got it set up, it works well. Certainly better than a bunch of wires hanging everywhere.Kind of looks like tentacles lol.If you've got pets or kids around, this also helps keep cords tucked away and less tempting. Overall, not perfect, but for the price it's a nice deal.

For the price, and seeing how this was mostly just plastic, I was a little skeptical as to how this would work for me, but with a bit of tinkering and snaking my cables through the device it has helped to declutter my floor and help keep my cables accessible on my desk without constantly tumbling to the floor.PROS:You can adjust it to the height you need fairly easily. The Left and Right side of the cable holder can hold about 2-3 USB style cables each, or other power cables, HDMI, etc.Combined between the left and right you should be able to get roughly 5-6 cables secured and out of the way.CONS:You will need a metal/aluminum desk or something Metal to attach the magnet to in order to secure the base to your desk. If your desk is all wood or another material, the magnet won't work.Still takes a bit of effort and snaking, especially if your cables are different lengths to get them in the cable holder and out where they are accessible to use. They show the table screw connector being mounted underneath the desk, but I found if I was to do that it would be harder to bring the cables up to my desk, so I just mounted it to the top of my desk. All in all, assembly was pretty easy and I like how with a few simple snaps you can make the snake as long or as short as you need it. I like how you can run the cables up from underneath and then pass them into the holder to keep your cables secure. This thing isn't totally perfect, but for my needs and most peoples needs this is certainly better than just having a bunch of loose cables on the floor. 4/5 STARS
