Ihr Warenkorb ist leerVan Staal VR Spinnrollen sind die neueste Innovation von Van Staal, dem Marktführer im Bereich versiegelter Rollen. Die VR-Serie ist vollständig versiegelt und vollständig tauchfähig, wie ihr bewährter Vorgänger, die X-Serie. Sie sind aus 6061-T6 Aluminium geschmiedet und bearbeitet, mit einem massiven Edelstahl-Mittelschaft und Titan-Nitrid-Beschichtung. Diese Rollen verfügen über ein leistungsstarkes, wasserdichtes Drag-System mit MicroClick-Stimmgenauigkeit und ein leichtes Design, aufgrund der Aussparungen in Körper, Rotor und Spule. Eine weitere Innovation mit der VR-Serie ist der einfache Umbau von einer Bailly Reel (so verpackt) zu einer bügellosen Spule, mit dem Werkzeug, Teilen und Anleitung (evtl. nicht in deutscher Sprache). Die VR wird oft von Anglern gewählt, die alle Funktionen des VSX mit der Möglichkeit wollen, zwischen einer Bail-less und bügellos zu wechseln. Sie sind auch bei Surfcastern beliebt, die ein paar Unzen sparen und das leichteste Rig bauen wollen, da die meisten Modelle noch leichter sind als die bereits leichten VSX Bailed Rollen. Hinweis – Der Van Staal VR50 wird nicht mit einem Kit geliefert, um ihn in bügellose Umwandlung zu verwandeln.

So the description on german amazon is wrong, it says "right handed" even though it's VR150 (right handed would be VR151) either way, proper VR150 arrived, left handed, brand new, sparkling.I was not sure if the offer is real as the price was very very good, but seems like the seller "tackle-deals" stands by its name.I would not normally buy it, but the price was too good to pass up. Looking forward to the new season with this reel and many more seasons after that.Edit: added pictures from fishing trips.

I've wanted a Van Staal for years and years, and now that I could afford one, I was not let down. The reel is amazing—the smooth drag stands out. Line spools on beautifully and casts like a dream. I've dropped it in the sand a few times, no grinding or sticking. It's built to take a beating and still function perfectly. Worth the money. Hope to catch many more fish with it.

My god the dumb hype around old technology. Not all their reels are made in the USA and it’s not a small company anymore… the biggest problem is the reel is advertised as a rugged and water proof/water resistant. There is almost a myth around this company with online videos of people finding reels in the ocean many years later and the reel working perfectly fine…. What a bunch of crap. I fished it 155 days last year the gears on the teeth are grinded away and the bail fail. The worst part is they won’t cover it under the warranty and it too much over 3 months for my reel to come back. They can blame covid all they want but my daiwa reel came back in 2 weeks.

Solid reel, hard to justify the price over something Iike a shimano sustain, It was a hard sell to convince myself to keep it as I have many comparable reels. I have had bad experiences with the larger VR 200 when released back a few years ago. This one feels solid and probably problem free, but for the money I’d rather own something more refined. Van staal are amazing products but this one maybe a deal breaker for boat use!

The VR175 did not have the original logo Design wording in the bottom of the reel. So that makes me question if the reel is legit or not. On that note, It will be returned ASAP. Opened it, Inspected it; NOW HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!
