High-quality! I love the fact that I can screw it on the dash as well and not just rely on sticky pad to hold it in place.

BOTTOM LINE: Great little mount base/arm holds phone (and any other similar-sized/weight items) solid as a rock. Sized to use standard 1" RAM mount attachments, but comes with an adapter for smaller doohickies, too.THOUGHTS: I have a mobile desk for my job that I use almost all day, every day. I got tired of my work phone sliding and bumping around on the desktop, and there's always a risk it will end up bouncing on the concrete floors I walk daily. I spotted this VAUBORTTI GPS Sticky Mount on Amazon and took a chance. Since the desk is basically mine, I went ahead and drilled through the particle board upper top, using the mount base as a hole guide (which is already tapped for 4 bolts/screws). I did not, however, use the 3M sticky tape that covers the underside of the mount base, in case I ever decide to move this - or for when I retire and want to take it with me and put it to use someplace else.4 screws, flat washers & locknuts later and this thing is very rigidly mounted. The phone holder I ordered to attach to this mount is for motorcycles, so it has shock absorbing capabilities. A big bonus as it turns out, since my little desk/cart have to traverse a very large manufacturing facility and there are all sorts of cracks and expansion grooves that my desk has to power over. After almost a month on the job, this mount arm is standing tall and holding my phone exactly like I'd hoped. Very happy. Highly recommended!

I've been using a telescoping phone mount with gel suction to mount my Garmin 790. Although the telescoping phone mount has worked well, my GPS tends to bounce when driving on rougher roads. I saw this mount from VAUBORTTI and thought I'd give it a try. I really like the build quality of the mount itself giving you the ability for granular adjustments. I was really excited at first until I went out to try truck the next morning. The whole mount had fallen off because of the cheap sticky pad they provide. Not only did it fall, but because the base has jagged edges, it scratched my new dashboard. Not happy at all! This would have been a great mount but they really need better sticky pad, and use plastic for the base. The only thing I can do now is find a different base on Amazon with a 24mm ball. Luckily my old suction cup phone holder covers the nasty scratch this base left on my dashboard. I don't recommend purchasing this product only because of the hard base with jagged edges. Once that sticky pads lets go, the whole mount will come down scratching everything in its path.

UPDATE: seller was nice and quickly offered a full refund after my initial review. Adding stars for great customer service.****Unfortunately broke in about a month.Product is not fully made of metal. The 1" balls are plastic. Only the smaller ball, the base and the arm are metal. This eventually killed it - the plastic connection between the base and 1" ball broke from vibration.The product looks pretty solid, and is expected to hold pretty heavy electronics. In my case it couldn't handle a phone and a phone mount, under city driving conditions (granted I put ~4000 miles on during that time)The double-sided tape held up beautifully, even though it's not original 3M tape.Plastic balls became dimpled from the clamping force of the arm.Would be a solid mount if it was fully metal, or at least wouldn't have the thinnest part made of plastic
