I used the VEVOR 12V Linear Actuator (20-inch high speed, 220 lbs) as a door operator for my chicken coop, and it works perfectly for this purpose. With its 220 lb force, I paired it with a cable system to lift the door. This setup ensures the cable goes slack when the door closes, preventing any risk of harming my chickens—a big concern for me!The actuator operates at just the right speed (0.55"/s), slow enough to give the chickens plenty of time to move out of the way, which is a crucial safety feature. Installation was straightforward, and the unit feels sturdy and well-built.If you’re looking to automate your chicken coop or need a reliable actuator for a similar application, this is an excellent choice. It’s powerful, smooth, and safe—exactly what I needed for the job!

Man muss fair sein: die Antriebe sind keine hochqualitativen.Ich habe zwei Stck. parallel im Einsatz, leider sind die Motoren ein klein wenig unterschiedlich schnell. In meiner Konstruktion ist das Eher schlecht.Die Endschalter lassen sich nicht einstellen.Wenn sie maximal ausgefahren sind, sind sie sehr instabil, da die obere (innere) Führung dann nicht mehr ausreichend weit greift.Die Hubleistung ist wirklich beeindruckend!Alles in allem passt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis

I have bought a couple of these and for the price you can’t beat it. I use them for automatic chicken doors so they are outside 24/7 and not covered from the rain entirely. They have lasted an extremely long time considering the abuse. I bought a back up one just in case one breaks one of these days but it’s still on the shelf due to the endurance of the product. I’m sure if you covered them and took care of them properly they might last for years and years. They can lift a good amount of weight and I was kinda surprised by overall strength of the device. I’m sure the more weight you lift that might affect the lifetime of it but I’ve had nothing but good experience with these so far. Mine go up and down 2 times a day in case anyone was wondering and do so with about 30 pounds of weight with ease. I use one to lift the chicken feed off the ground to protect from pests and other uninvited guests at night as well.

Angeblich schafft der Motor 1000 N, müsste also 56 kg heben können. Dabei jault er enorm und biegt sich durch. Am Ende schafft er es nicht.
