You have to put it together and it didn’t come with the best directions however it works really well.

Works, and gives one heck of a workout. I'm not a huge guy (5' 7", about 160ish) and when I get it up to around 3000 psi I have to consider it full enough because that's the point where it gets really rough on the hands. I just have to remind myself, I'm not pumping a mower tire to 10 psi, I'm trying to condense a cylinder to of air to 300-400 times that so it's going to be a pretty good workout.I bought this for a PCP air rifle (Air Venturi Avenger) and after hooking up the gauge, hose, and handle (super quick assembly) it was ready to go. Beyond it being a workout, it just works. I am definitely going to invest in a powered pump for the majority of my plinking, but this thing will always be coming with as a backup.(not really part of a review but, I was exhausted one day while packing up after shooting and busted out laughing when I picked it up and saw a face)

My 5-year-old AV 3-stage PCP hand pump finally gave up the ghost just over a week ago. The timing was bad because I had just recently purchased a new PCP rifle and was enjoying shooting it every day after work. After researching the current market and updated technologies related to PCP hand pumps, I decided to purchase the Vevor PCP 4-Stage 4500 PSI Hand Pump which had (and still has) a wonderful pricepoint of $54.99. Before the new pump arrived, I began dreading the process of putting it all together and tinkering with it for days before it began to work without leaks or other problems. This had been my experience with the last hand pump I had purchased, but when the Vevor arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was mostly ready to use and required almost no actual assembly of a technical nature. I had it together in just a few short minutes and I am very impressed with its performance. Similar to most other hand pumps I have ever used, once your pressures get over 3000 PSI, the pumping motion becomes more of an upper-body workout than a simple means-to-an-end. However, between 0-3000 PSI, the Vevor pump is quite noticeably smoother, more effective and efficient, and frankly easier to operate than any other hand pump I have ever used. It is also very solid and well-built, but still weighs under 5#. Prior to researching my potential new pump options, I was pretty much resigned to the fact that I would probably have to spend over $200.00 for a new hand pump. I am very happy to admit that I was wrong, and am very happy that I decided to purchase this pump for my PCP air gun needs! IME, this pump has every pro going for it and to date I have yet to identify a single con! 5+ Stars!
