Have a trailer that needed two steps to get in. Theses steps work perfectly for my wife and I. Very strong when assembled and light and easy to store.

I ordered this item to use with my RV. All three of my RV's have had the door opening from left to right. To the best of my knowledge, all RV doors open this way so I'm not sure who the numbskull was that designed this. You cannot use the handle on the stairs because they would be behind the door, which makes this unsafe for me as I have a bad hip. Most of the other stairs I looked at, the handle was interchangeable so I had no reason to believe that this one would not be. I bought this one though because it had a tall handle which would make it safer. The company cheaped out. All they had to do was add four screw holes on the left hand side of the stairs. Because they didn't, I tried to return this. Amazon didn't consider security a good enough reason for the return I guess because it was going to cost me almost half what the entire unit cost to ship it back to Amazon. Understandable I suppose because it is a heavy item but there is no way I'm paying that much for shipping! I'll give it away before I pay that!So why not just drill holes on the other side you ask? The holes have the threads inserted in order to make the handle sturdy. The only way I could make it work is if I drilled and used nuts and bolts to hold the handle on. I'm nut sure the stair metal could stand up to that as eventually the metal would be torn by pressure and movement on the handle. So for me, this is now garbage.

Very nice strong steps for camper which is permanently parked. Able to reinforce to stepping stones placed under the steps through pre drilled holes. Highly recommend! Great for safety in getting up and down.
