Nachdem sich an meinen Enduro der alte Kettenstrebenschutz langsam verabschiedet hat musste was neues her.Über einen Youtuber bin ich dann auf den Schutz von VHS aufmerksam geworden.PROs:- Durch den 3M Kleber an der Unterseite hält der Schutz super- Auch nach mittlerweile einen Jahr benutzung löst sich noch nichts- Durch die weichen Gummipolster hilft der Schutz wirklich effektiv gegen KettenklappernContra:- Für ein Stück Gummi ist es schon etwas teuer.

I don’t know much about the product as it was bought for my young lad, but he says it’s one of the best things he’s used for his bike. So on that note, I’ll highly recommend.

My new high end FS mountain bike is fantastic but all the noise due to chain slap was driving me crazy. I installed the VHS 2.0 chain slap guard and went for the first ride with it today. The change was immediately noticeable - no more noise coming from the chain every time I hit a rocky section of trail. Couldn’t be happier and I highly recommend this product to anyone trying to make their bike a quieter ride,

Made my Dartmoor primal pro very silent over rough chunk! Only chainstay protection I will by going forward. I just wish they made a lower profile version for gravel/road bikes.

Bei dem aufgerufenen Preis dachte ich, das sich das lohnen müsste. Leider ging bereits nach der ersten Fahrt das Gummi vom Klebestreifen ab. Der Kleber darunter klebt allerdings wie sonst was am Rahmen. Hier kann man auch eine günstigere Alternative verwenden, die klebt sogar meist länger.

 

I wanted a better alternative to the various frame tapes, which while they protect the paint finish on the chain stay, do not eliminate the annoying banging and clattering noise. I wanted something more substantial and comparable to the bespoke rubber fitments incorporated with some mountain bikes and this was the only thing that comes close. Once fitted correctly it will never come off unless you want it to and it completely silences the chain. Very hard wearing too. The only thing holding back a fifth star is that it does seem a little on the pricey side for what is a small strip of sticky rubber, but it’s worth it if you want a proper solution that lasts and lasts and looks good, and nothing else I’ve seen is as good as this.

This this is awesome and exactly what I needed to prevent the chain slap noise. It works awesome and is heavy duty. I will run it on every bike I own.
