I found this set of bike lights simple to use and easy to remove when not in use.The front light has one button for on/off, a second short press selects one of the two light levels. The beam angle is quite wide horizontally but narrow vertically, the outer zones of the beam are however dimmer than the central area so overall it should result in less flashing from oncoming traffic. The fixing is quite rudimentary, a simple wrap around band to attach it to the bike's handlebar, this has a slide on clip for the light allowing it to be taken off easily when not in use.The rear light is also nice and bright with a wide beam angle, it too is clipped onto the frame with a stretchy band.Battery life is pretty good, I've used these for a couple of weeks on a relatively short journey and they have come up to their first charge.Verdict: Nothing flash about these light but that's reflected in the price. If you want some cheap lights for your kids' bike then these are a definite winner. Easy to remove but if they get forgotten and then nicked it won't break the bank.

Really not sure about the 30 Lux claims, but they do work fine. The front light is bright enough to give you good visibility to other road users, but it's not really enough to light your way in dark areas, you'd ideally need something more with it. As it is it does a good job of safety really and does give a bit of near field lighting to your front. The rear light in this set is really good though! I love that it's a simple on or off, nothing fancy. The LED inside lights up the whole body really well making it very highly visible from all angles, and the main body is also a reflector too.Overall not a bad set of bike lights for safety purposes. The front works ok but it's not an award winning headlight, but for me that rear light is awesome! If the price is right it's a good set, but I can't comment on the cost as it's currently showing unavailable.

This is my second review as I purchased these lights again.I ordered these lights for my commuter bike, for a sub £20 set of lights they impressed me.I like the simplicity of them and they are plenty bright for my needs.I’m now running two front lights as I prefer the two lights upfront set up.This does not give you twice the brightness of course but it gives a broader beam spread.Plus I like to have a back up, if one battery dies you’ve got a back up light, chances of them both dying is slim.I also think it looks cooler and makes the handle bars feel more balanced.

I'm a big proponent of StVZO-regulated lighting, as the cut-off beam prevents dazzling other road users and stops annoyed drivers from flashing and blinding me on my bike. The lens optics also provides more lighting on the road, rather than in the trees. Too many manufacturers produce glorified torches rather than appropriate road lights, so I always opt for StVZO bike lights. This VICTGOAL Bike Light Set is a decent option for those seeking StVZO-approved lighting, but it's not as good as I'd hoped. While the front light provides good brightness (including good side visibility) with the expected cut-off beam, the beam is slim in depth and saturated to a distant zone. There's a distinct lack of lightning in the core zone, side zones, and close-range zone (If you're wondering what I mean by zones, look at Sigma StVZO lighting). I have a cheap Degbit light, which isn't quite as bright but does a better job covering each zone. The front mount is excellent and fits handlebars securely. It features a 360-degree rotating head with a secure clicking mechanism preventing the light from moving when riding over bumps. The mounting clip allows the light to be removed (without removing the mount) for easy charging. The rear light is reasonably bright, but the lack of flashing modes is disappointing. I would never ride my bike without a bright flashing rear light. I currently use a Garmin Varia Radar light which isn't cheap, but it's a small price to pay for something that could be the difference between life and death.Overall, I'm not a fan of the rear light, but the front light shall be kept as backup. However, there are better lights out there. See Sigma Sport, Lezyne, Magicshine, Busch + Müller, Fionic, Telock, and some Cat Eye lights.

For the current price of £17.99 this feels a bit cheap with low quality plastics that put you off. Worst still is the very low water resistance as usual the manufacturer plays with words saying this is ipx4 waterproof but ipx4 means light splashes of water. Not Waterproof then by any means and I wouldn’t want to chance it in heavy rain where ipx5 is considered WEATHERPROOF rather than what we have here. Best spend elsewhere
