Extremely realistic sword which goes down a treat for school plays and World Book Day dress-ups. Not too flimsy and with a nice grippy handle. Highly recommended!

It's a plastic prop sword. Lightweight, doesn't smell, and not sharp. Not unlike something you'd find at the dollar store, but slightly more detailed and less generic.

My son's P1 class has been learning about Castles recently, and they are having a dress-up day to wrap up the topic. With a choice of Princess, King, or Knight, he chose Princess. After encouraging him around to the idea of being a Knight, he changed his mind to King. We got him a crown, cape, and this sword - the sword being the best of the bunch. It looks great, has had me practicing my Conan moves in the kitchen, has had my telling me to 'watch the cupboards', and has had me put in the bad books for claiming that 'cupboards are the business of wenches'.Nevertheless, the sword is strong and well made, but suitable for a 5 year old to swing about as long as they are told not to deliberately try to hurt someone, no matter how annoying they may be. It has some neat design so it could be used for more adult costumes too, if you're into that.

Safe play sword (it's plastic and doesn't seem brittle etc). Kids, or I suppose Cosplaying adults, will find this to be an attractive sword without the danger of harming anyone; it looks good, but does not contain any metal so the "blade" is not sharp or likely to inflict any accidental harm to anyone. It is good value for money and worthwhile for anyone looking for a play sword for costumes, just playing around etc.
