Before purchasing these shoes, I read quite a few reviews that mentioned issues with comfort and fit. Because of that, I went in with managed expectations - and I’m happy to say I’m pleasantly surprised. They’ve been quite comfortable for my needs. The Boa lacing system is a standout feature, making it easy to get the perfect fit with minimal effort. Overall, I’m highly satisfied with my purchase. They’re a solid choice!

I didn't expect it to be soo comfortable! I have a relatively broad feet with a width of 109 mm for an EU size 41. All I did was take a size 42 on this shoe and it fits perfectly.

Die Schuhe fand ich optisch sehr schön und kaufte mir diese mit Freude. Leider verflog diese schnell beim tragen. Die Bündchen sind recht grob und scheuern unerträglich. Der Schuh fühlt sich hart an, es ist kein Gefühl der Bequemlichkeit vorhanden. Ja sie sind leicht, das warst dann aber auch. Eher enttäuschend.

I absolutely love these shoes. I gave them a go because i bought their boots in matching design already and they held up to their promise when using in the wet on a hike so i thought i would try these ones as more of a better weather shoe when i don't need a full on boot. Having found the Boa system on my work boots years ago, i love that Viking incorporates it in a lot of their shoes/boots since it's hard to find companies that do that, i love the Boa system, it's just brilliant, no more loose laces and always the perfect fit/support/tightness. I am used to having the system pretty snug and tight but i found with these shoes specifically a more relaxed setting works way better overall. The shoes are big enough in the toe box so i don't get any squishing of toes on the sides or discomfort, they are very cushioned so feel quite soft on the go and do help, as is their design, to walk a little faster with ease compared to their boots or a more traditional style hiking shoe, i found that i got quite the bounce in my steps in a good way. Now compared to the boots though it means that you lose a bit of feel as to the surface underneath your shoes and to what's going on there so it might be better to stick to paths and trails rather then go cross country with them depending on terrain. They are definitely mud and wet proof and keep your dry and warm even in snowy conditions, very impressed. The design is what got me in combination with the feature set, Vibram sole which i use on my work boots and swear by, Boa lacing system and waterproofing while being breathable. A little note to the latter though because of how the binding system works with this specific design, your warmth of your feet get trapped under the half of the rubber part that's keeping you locked in to the shoe, so you will see moisture/condensation forming there, so far this hasn't effected anything that i could see or feel but is a more aesthetic kinda thing. I loved the shoe so much i got em for my girlfriend and my sister who both love them as well, even saying that usually their feet get tired after walking a lot on a day out but not with these ones and i bought myself a 2nd pair so that i have one for proper outdoors and one set just for going around town and running errands. Highly recommended and will have a look at this brand first in the future if i have need of shoes/boots.

Laufkomfort der Schuhe ist wirklich gut - Verschluß mit "Feinsteinstellung" ganz wunderbar... leider löst sich nach kurzer Zeit die Verklebung der Schutzschicht an beiden Schuhen... bin gespannt, wie lange ich die Schuhe noch nutzen kann.

Son muy incomodas al menos en mi caso. Ademas en diseño del sistema Boa en estas botas esta muy mal pensado, ya que por la inclinacion de los enganches y la tela blanda de la bota hace que al apretar se forme una arruga ademas de ser incomodo, creo que este sistema no deberian haberlo puesto en este modelo de tela.
