I’ve been looking for a rain gauge for some time, and when I saw this one with the cute dog and bird, I knew it was the one.It was shipped safely in Styrofoam and was in perfect condition when we received it. It also included the batteries for the solar light.It’s made of great quality. Inserting the stake into the ground was easy, and it held up without bending. The bird and dog detail is very well done and looks beautiful. The little crystal hanging below is a nice touch and sparkles when the sun hits it. There’s a solar light attached to it, although we haven’t seen the solar light work.One thing to note is that the rain collector is made of glass. You’ll want to take it in during storms and be careful not to drop it when emptying it.The rain gauge is perfect for anyone who wants a more decorative rain gauge in their garden.Overall, I rate it five stars. The solar light hasn’t worked, but that’s not an important feature to me.

This is very easy to put together and get set up.... it's a bit lightweight, so I added it to a part of the garden where some of the fencing could help support it or guard it from wind , if need be... The design is cute with the dog and solar light - which stays lit for 4-5 hours at night... the rain cylinder holds a good amount and helps to determine what kind of rain we received too... I'm not too sure about the crystal on there - but it does make for some pretty reflections in the garden too.

This rain gauge is simply beautiful! I love the doggie and the birdie. The rain gauge was easy to assemble and easy to stake into the yard. I really like the easy to read numbers. It has accurately measured the rainfall. And it’s just so pretty to look at! Great quality and great value. Very happy with it.
