This product is sturdy and strong. Stands straight and firm by itself. No weights needed. Easily leveled. Very nice coloring and it ages okay it seems even though you can see the original finish is flaking off the frog. But I think it will still end up looking fine. It’s a shallower bird bath but holds enough water to use a solar fountain pump. You’ll need to treat the water so as not to be drinkable if you have bees nearby. They will take over the bath swarming and using it as a fresh water source. So, if you have bees or wasps and you want to have this near people, taint the water. Don’t worry as birds and other creatures can tell right away the water is bad. However, if you do not have a bee problem, the birds will love this bath. Here in Arizona, it does get too hot in the summer afternoons for the birds to stand on the edge so they will visit in the early AM or evening hours. Overall, a very nice product. You could even use it for bird seeds and I’m sure the birdies will love that too.
