I was a little confused to start with as far as I understand this device it is a way to spread the heat more evenly from a gas hob. The description seems to say it is for use with an induction gas hob. As far as I understand it there is no such thing - induction hobs are electric.Anyway that issue aside this will be a good way to cook larger pans with a more even heat avoiding the hot spots you inevitably get with a gas flame.It is fairly solid and sits securely on the gas hob rings of my cooker. You need to remember to make sure the pan is on the plate when you start heating it.This certainly seemed to transfer the heat effectively to a frying pan when tested with eggs. They seemed even cooked as well.It has a handy lifting handle to move it while it is still hot .It is quite pricey at almost £23. Infact more expensive than the pan used for cooking.That said of course it can be used with all my pans.Overall happy to recommend.

This adapts well and the material is very solid so it works with many of my pots.The gold colour also looks very nice and luxurious. It's made of stainless steel and aluminium.

Einfach top. Endlich können auch wieder nicht "magnetische" (Eisen) auf dem Induktionskochfeld eingesetzt werden.

Ich habe mir die Wärmeverteilerplatte für den Gasherd in meinem Wohnwagen geholt damit die kleineren Töpfe stabiler stehen und die Töpfe und Pfanne durch das direkte Feuer nicht mehr so in Mitleidenschaft gezogen werden. Ich habe sie erst einmal ausprobiert und sie erfüllt erstmal ihren Zweck. Den Preis finde ich jedoch um einiges zu hoch angesetzt daher ziehe ich einen Stern ab.

I used it 3 times for far on a ceramic tagine and it worked very well. You need to be a bit patient about the plate getting hot but that is normal. Once it's all hot and stable, works like a charm. I don't wash it just letting it cool off but for now it doesn't need it.

This is the first time I've ever used a heat diffuser so I don't really have anything to compare it to. It's okay, it seems to spread the heat around evenly and I have no issue with that part. In fact, I feel it did a better job for cooking. However, the unit is quite thick and thus heavy, so it takes a little while to warm up using more gas and the thing I don't really like about it is the handle, it just has a groove you slot the handle into and it feels a little sketchy. It did hold the plate well enough but I just have this unsure feeling as I'm doing it. Perhaps that's just me. Of course, it could very well be the way they're meant to be designed and if you're careful, it should be fine. With all that said, it did cook the food much more evenly which is the point and there's not much here so it's easy to stack away when not in use.The presentation is okay and I think for £26.99 plus a 10% voucher the price is also quite fair.
