Acquistata come prodotto usato nella Amazon Warehouse a un prezzo molto vantaggioso rispetto al prodotto nuovo la Cintiq 16 HD si presenta in perfette condizioni, sia dal lato estetico che da quello tecnico delle performance, manca la confezione esterna (quella che si sfila) ma l'imballaggio interno é integro e accuratamente sigillato e protetto. Ho scelto la 16 HD dato che precedentemente ho utilizzato per parecchi anni una 13 HD con la quale mi sono trovato molto bene ma che ormai aveva fatto il suo tempo. Anche se in apparenza i pochi pollici non sembrano fare una grande differenza, ci sono delle differenze tecniche che la rendono più comoda e performante della sorella minore, primo di tutti il cavo 3 in 1 che non si innesta più sullo scomodo lato destro ma bensì nel lato posteriore in un debito compartimento che protegge la presa da urti o torsioni adattandosi inoltre a postazioni di lavoro più versatili. Sulla faccia posteriore sono presenti due piedini a scomparsa che permettono di posizionare la tavoletta a una angolatura molto comoda, inoltre è predisposta per supporti VESA che permettono di montarla su diversi tipi di supporti a braccio estensibile così da aumentare le prestazioni del nostro workspace. La pen è di ultima generazione, senza batterie, leggera ma estremamente precisa, rispetto alla precedente usata (quella della 13 HD) noto da subito una sensibilità migliorata soprattutto agli estremi, ciò mi permette di modulare linee molto più sottili e cambi di misura più naturali quando inchiostro o di delle pennellate veloci. Non presenta più la ghiera con i tasti funzione ma per la mia esperienza non sono mai stati molto comodi prediligendo quasi sempre le scorciatoie con la tastiera che mi permettono anche una postura più distesa e performante. Lo schermo è opaco, il che permette in grip più naturale, simile a quello della carta. Nonostante il parallasse non sia vicino come nei modelli nuovi non risulta fastidioso e si dimostra preciso anche negli angoli dello schermo, cosa che nel modello 13 HD dava invece spesso fastidio obbligandomi a lavorare molto nella zona centrale dello schermo. Concludendo la Cintiq 16 HD risulta un modello molto valido sia per chi disegna amatorialmente che per un Pro, la sua dimensione permette di lavorare comodamente soprattutto in workspace dalle dimensioni contenute. Consiglio infine di acquistare a parte uno schermo protettivo che permetterà di non usare il vetro con il passare del tempo.

Deutsch/GERMAN (for review in English please scroll down)Kurzfassung:Ich bin völlig zufrieden und würde es wieder kaufen.Langfassung:Vor 2 Jahren begann ich digital zu zeichnen mit dem "One by Wacom" (Achtung: Das ist nicht dasselbe Tablet wie das "Wacom One"!), seit Juni 2021 dachte ich an ein Tablet mit integriertem Screen.Also holte ich mir das "Wacom One", da ich mit dem "One by Wacom" bislang sehr zufrieden war.Und das war der Fehler - das "Wacom One" war für mich absolut untauglich. Ich empfand es als ungenau, die Druckstufen als unintuitiv und ebenfalls ungenau und der stift... eine Katastrophe. Wie kann es sein, dass das günstigste Wacom Tablet ("One by Wacom") einen gut funktionalen Stift mit zwei Tasten hat, das "Wacom One" aber nur einen Stift mit einer Taste? O_oDas Arbeiten war eine Qual und ich habe es nach zwei Tagen Probe zurückgeschickt.Meine nächste Hoffnung war das "Cintiq 16", kam halt noch etwas an Geld obendrauf - und verdammt, es hat sich gelohnt!!!Ich empfinde das Cintiq 16 als sehr genau, die Drucksenitivität als genial und der Stift kommt nicht nur wieder mit zwei Tasten, sondern liegt auch noch super in der Hand.Das "One by Wacom" nutze ich zwar weiterhin, bei sehr exakten Arbeiten bzw. Details nutze ich nun ausschliesslich das Cintiq. Kann es nur empfehlen.Für Anfänger würde ich trotzdem erstmal zu dem "One by Wacom" raten, da es erstens preislich super günstig ist, man gut damit arbeiten kann und es mir persönlich recht gut getan hat, mich erstmal dran zu gewöhnen auf dem Tablet zu zeichnen und dabei aber auf meinen normalen Computerscreen zu schauen (Hand-Augen-Koordination).***********ENGLISH:In a nutshell: I am totally satisfied with this tablet and would buy it again.More in detail:Two years ago I started digital drawing with the "One by Wacom" (Caution: NOt the same as the "Wacom one"!!!), since June 2021 I thought of buying a tablet with implemented screen. I decided for the "Wacom One" because I had been very happy with the "One by Wacom". That... was a mistake - the "wacom One" was of no use at all for me.It appeared to me being very inaccurate while drawing, the sensitivity seemed unintuitive and unprecise to me, the pen... a catasrophe. How can it be that the cheapest Wacom tablet ("One by Wacom") comes with a well functioning pen with to buttons while the pen of the "wacom One" has only one button? O_oWorking was a fight and after two days of trying it I sent it back.My next hope was the "Cintiq 16", still needed a bit more money on top - and hell yeah, it was totally worth it!!!From my point of view the "Cintiq 16" is very accurate, sensitivity is brilliant and the pen does not only come with two buttons again but also has a great feeling in the hand.I am still using the small "One by Wacom", but when working on very fine details I use the Cintiq only.I can recommend this tablet.For beginners I'd still suggest the "one by Wacom" first for it's very low price and because it is good working with it; imho it was beneficial for me to start working on a tablet without implemented screen for getting used to work digitally and for my eye-hand coordination.

The product is well built and it was extremely simple to install the wacom driver. The stand holds it in place and on great angles. For the price it is a great deal.

I upgraded form a Wacom cintiq 13HD. This is so far a great product, installation easy, really really simple. This is installing on a mac. I haven't tried windows yet.I am disappointed with the lack of accessories on this. It didn't come with a screen protector nor any extra nibs(correction, 3 x nibs are in the pen holder, tug on the cotton loop sticking out from the side of your pad). And you have to buy the stand separately- it's too expensive in my mind. So I didn't get that, but I got a 9.99 alternative: JUMKEET Laptop Stand,Foldable Portable Ventilated Desktop Laptop Holder. It works really well! So I am quite happy with this over the much more expensive alternative.My only concern is that the screen apparently doesn't support felt nibs. Which is a bit... disappointing. I fear that unless this pen screen proves somehow to make up for this rather proportionate downside, I might not be buying Wacom in the future. We'll see.I wanted to buy the pro version, but it was around 3k at the time of writing this. Which seems rather... overpriced. I needed something relatively compact, So I can transport it between my offices without too much fuss.It's a good buy so far, and for what it is it's a good price. Given it's not a budget brand. I like that the horrible annoying buttons on the side of the screen are now gone!The stand I bought also has a nice slot to put your pen on when you're not using it. So in my opinion it's far better than the one offered with the device for a fee of 70+.I will probably add to this review once I have used it for the purposes of digital painting, and drawing technical diagrams when switching between work and personal machines.Edit 28/03/2022: You can in fact use felt nibs on this version! Very happy, drawing is so much easier with felt nibs as the feedback makes adding details all the more easier. I think the device also helps to alleviate tremors? I don't have the most steady hands, and I have noticed a VAST improvement in my ability to draw finer details without wobbly-ness since having used this upgraded version. My only gripe is the pro pen slim. But that's for another review.

I just received my Wacom Cintiq 16, and the pen was not inside the package! the packaging for the pen was there, but there was no pen! it's either that they have not included the pen while its written on the package that the Pro Pen 2 is included, or the package must have been opened and the pen was taken out during delivery! either way, very disappointed with Amazon and Wacom!

Vor dem Wacom Cintiq 16 hatte ich mir das XP-PEN Artist 16 Pro gekauft. Damit hatte ich jedoch so viele Probleme, dass ich es leider zurückschicken musste. Da ich aber unbedingt ein Grafiktablet haben wollte, habe ich mich dann für dieses Model entschieden. Durch diesen Umstand kann ich also einen direkten Vergleich zwischen den beiden Grafiktablets stellen.Ich möchte vorher aber noch betonen, dass die Probleme mit dem XP-PEN mit hoher Sicherheit an meinem Computer lagen, nicht am Grafiktablet!!! Wer mehr darüber erfahren möchte, kann sich ja meine Rezension dort durchlesen.Displaygröße, Stift, Genauigkeit-------------------------------------Das Display hat bei beiden Tablets die gleiche Größe und auch der Stift ist zumindest optisch gleich. Beim XP-Pen muss er (nach ca. 60 Stunden) aufgeladen werden. Dafür sind aber auch zwei Stifte im Lieferumfang. Beim Wacom ist nur ein Stift dabei, der aber nicht aufgeladen werden muss. Die Stifte reagieren bei beiden Tablets sehr gut, ich konnte keine Verzögerung oder Parallax feststellen. Beim XP-Pen muss man den Stift erst kalibrieren. Beim Wacom ist das zwar möglich, aber nicht nötig. Der Stift hat von Anfang an perfekt reagiert.Gehäuse, Kabel, Standfuß------------------------------Das Gehäuse vom XP-Pen wirkt im direkten Vergleich mit dem Wacom klobig. Obwohl beide Gehäuse aus Plastik sind, ist die Verarbeitung vom Wacom deutlich hochwertiger. Das XP-Pen hat sogar ab und zu leicht gequietscht. Trotzdem kann man das XP-Pen auch gut händeln. Das Gehäuse XP-Pen ist auch deutlich dicker.Die drei Kabel an der linken Seite des XP-Pen waren am Anfang schon etwas nervig. Ich hatte mich aber schnell daran gewöhnt. Beim Wacom befindet sich an der oberen Seite ein dickes 3-in-1 Kabel. Der Stecker wird in ein Fach im Gehäuse gesteckt, dadurch vermindet sich die Gefahr eines Kabelbruches deutlich.Der Standfuß vom XP-Pen ist stufenlos einstellbar. Doch leider ist er auch sehr dick. Da ich gerne mit dem Tablet auf der Couch sitze und zeichne, hat er mich eher gestört. Daher hatte ich ihn abgeschraubt. Wacom hat anstelle eines Standfußes zwei Füße an der Unterseite des Gehäuses. Diese kann man, wie bei einer Tastatur, aufklappen und sind sehr stabil. Doch man hat dadurch nur einen Einstellwinkel. Da ich diese Standfüße aber nicht nutze, stört mich das nicht. Wer aber am Schreibtisch arbeiten möchte, muss sich evtl. noch einen zusätzlichen Standfuß kaufen.Expresstasten, Tasten am Stift-----------------------------------Die Expresstasten vom XP-Pen sind wirklich toll. Sie erleichtern die Arbeit enorm. Das Einstellen ist sehr einfach und schnell, die Tasten reagieren perfekt. Auch die Tasten am Stift lassen sich anpassen. Bei beiden Tablets.Da das Wacom keine Expresstasten am Gehäuse hat, habe ich mir in Illustrator einfach eine eigene Werkzeugleiste erstellt (Fenster > Symbolleisten > Symbolleisten verwalten). Dort habe ich jetzt alle Werkzeuge, die ich sowohl bei der Arbeit am Tablet als auch bei der Arbeit am Monitor brauche. Dadurch muss ich nicht ständig das Aufklappmenue der Standard-Werkzeugleiste aktivieren. Trotzdem kommt man nicht ohne Tastatur aus. Ich nutzte z. B. oft die Space-Taste zum verschieben der Zeichenfläche und Strg+Z (Rückgänging machen). Die beiden Befehle habe ich einfach auf die Tasten vom Stift gelegt. Klappt wunderbar. Allerdings muss der Stift dabei sehr nahe am Display sein.Aufbau, Anschluss, Installation Treiber--------------------------------------------Aufbau und Anschluss an den Computer war bei beiden Tablets sehr einfach. Während beim XP-Pen eine Anleitung in schriftlicher Form ist (leider extrem klein geschrieben), besteht die Anleitung vom Wacom aus Bildern (wie bei Ikea).Die Treiber muss man sich bei beiden Modellen aus dem Internet herunterladen. Eine Adresse dafür konnte ich bei der Anleitung vom XP-Pen nicht finden, ich musste googeln, habe dann aber sofort alles gefunden.Beim Wacom steht am Ende der Anleitung ein Link der zu den Treibern führt. Dort sind alle Treiber aufgeführt, nur nicht der vom Wacom Cintiq 16 (Stand 23.02.19). Ich habe es dann zuerst über eine Registrierung versucht. Hat nicht funktioniert. Dann bin ich auf die Produktseite vom Tablet gegangen. Dort konnte ich dann endlich den Treiber herunterladen.Nach der Installation des Treibers muss man beim XP-Pen erst den Stift kalibrieren. Das dauert aber nur ein paar Sekunden. Beim Wacom hat der Stift sofort perfekt reagiert. Eine Kalibrierung ist zwar möglich, aber überhaupt nicht nötig. Ich konnte sofort mit dem Zeichnen loslegen.Fazit------Beide Tablets sind super. Wer weniger Geld ausgeben möchte oder zwingend Expresstasten braucht, ist mit dem XP-Pen gut bedient. Dafür ist das Wacom sehr viel hochwertiger, dünner und etwas leichter. Und die Software hat mehr Einstellmöglichkeiten.Hätte ich das Wacom nie in der Hand gehabt, wäre ich mit dem XP-Pen sehr glücklich geworden. Doch jetzt wo ich das Cintiq 16 zu Hause habe, möchte ich kein anderes mehr haben. Die fehlenden Expresstasten kann ich dank der eigenen Werkzeugleiste und der Einstellung der Tasten am Stift gut kompensieren. Es macht einfach Spaß damit zu arbeiten.Von mir gibt es also eine ganz klare Kaufempfehlung!Nachtrag 20.07.2021:Ich bin immer noch sehr glücklich mit dem Grafikmonitor. Doch ich suchte nach einer Halterung, die nicht so teuer ist. Dabei bin ich bei Ikea auf den Bräda Laptophalter (4,99 Euro) gestoßen. Der Grafikmonitor passt perfekt darauf und wenn man dann noch die Standbeine vom Monitor aufklappt, steht dieser super hoch. Die Standbeine passen genau auf den Halter. Es verrutscht auch nichts. Eine günstige Alternative zu den teuren und leider auch oft unbrauchbaren Halterungen für Grafikmonitore.
