I filled the base with aqua fluval and covered in spagnam moss. It has been great at rooting plants like string of pearls and hoyas. I have also been successful in keeping begonias in them. Not only are they functional but they are very nice to look at.

Was really good for its purpose for my venus fly trap, until it grew out of it. Have already noticed a difference in plant since not having it in there.

My bonsai plant appreciates the cool breezes and enjoys the slightly trapped moisture in this dry environment. This dome is slightly small, but as you can see here, I used clothes pins to stake it up a little bit and improve air flow. All the leaves on my bonsai fell off and I thought I'd try covering it and look it has regrow. Its leaves beautifully!
