Die HD wurde als Sicherung für meine digitale Musiksammlung gekauft.Ich hoffe, dass sie mich nicht im Stich lässt.Die Handhabung ist einfach.

I'm not a Western Digital fan. In the past I've had wrong cables in the box, and their "customer service" didn't care. Despite it being sealed in WD logo shrink wrap, they blamed Amazon. That's crazy. Like Amazon would be swapping cables in a sealed box.Anyway, they are the only ones who carry a 6 Tb storage capacity portable, which is currently the biggest available for a drive that is powered by the USB port. And one of my projects was about to outgrow my Seagate 5 Tb portable. The nice thing is even though they are the only game in town the price is in range with smaller drives. It's very quiet to use. It an easy plug and play drive. I reformatted it as Ex-Fat for cross-platform use. The quality of the case seems an improvement from past drives.

Kompakt, schnell, gut (4TB-Variante).Sogar an meinen alten USB 3.0-Schnittstellen komme ich auf eine Übertragungsrate von knapp 100 MB/s.Preis liegt im Mittelklasse-Segment, ist aber vollkommen ok.KLare Kaufempfehlung

Ich besitze mittlerweile 4 von diesen Festplatten ( 3x 2TB und 1x 1TB) teilweise schon seit vielen Jahren und funktionieren immer noch super.

Ich verwende seit Jahren immer WD USB-Festplatten für meine Backups und als produktiven Datenspeicher. Ich habe mir jetzt wieder eine 4TB WD USB-Platte bestellt. Lieferung wie immer bestens. Und auch dieses WD Produkt wird mich sicher wie bisher wieder absolut überzeugen. Die Qualität der WD Platten ist für mich unübertroffne. Gerne wieder!

Die Angabe 6TB ist evtl. irreführend, nach Anschluss an Windows 10 werden nur freie 5,45TB ausgewiesen. Den Grund kenne ich nicht, aber auf den ersten Blick fehlen somit 555GB bis zu den angepriesenen 6TB, und das wäre ja eine ganze Menge. Ansonsten ist es einfach in Betrieb zu nehmen und von recht kleiner Bauform. Die auf der Platte mitgelieferte Backupsoftware liess sich nicht installieren, das macht aber mir nichts aus, denn ich nutze ohnehin eine andere Backup Lösung.

Habe diese Festplatte mehrmals gekauft, im Amazon Warehouse (Rücksende-Ware). Durch die Stromversorgung via USB ohne extra Netzkabel macht die Handhabung unkompliziert. Bin gespannt, wie lange die Festplatte durchhält.

Habe seit mehreren Jahren diese Festplatten im Gebrauch, jeweils 2,4,5 und 6 TB. Alle Festplatten funktionieren bis jetzt reibungslos. Somit bin ich sehr zufrieden und kann die Festplatten weiterempfehlen.

I recently purchased the WD 4TB Elements Portable USB 3.0 High Capacity Hard Drive and I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. The drive is compact and easy to use - just plug it into my computer's USB port and I'm good to go. The 4TB of storage is more than enough for my needs, and the transfer speeds are reasonable for a standard 5400rpm HDD..One thing that initially concerned me was the drive's tendency to get hot during use. However, I have used it extensively over the past few weeks and have not experienced any issues with overheating.In terms of value, I believe the WD 4TB Elements Portable USB 3.0 High Capacity Hard Drive offers excellent value for the price and the high capacity and decent transfer speeds make it well worth the investment. If you need a lot of storage on the go and are looking for a reliable and high-performance option, I highly recommend the WD 4TB Elements Portable USB 3.0 High Capacity Hard Drive.
