After 20 hats, it started to be finicky with the type of yarn it likes. The plastic is kinda flimsy, but it’s a good choice for my first machine.

I had bought a small knitting machine for my granddaughter that dropped stitches and jammed very easily. It was fun though, so I decided to buy a more expensive and larger machine to hopefully get better results. I was careful to research on the web to get recommendations on yarn since the machines are very finicky and the yarn choice can ruin the result. I used Caron Simply Soft on the new machine and it seemed like it was going well for the first two dozen rows, then it started dropping stitches. I was very careful to keep a loose tension and to turn the handle at a slow consistent speed. Out of the blue it just started dropping stitches. This is really frustrating when you have gone far into the project and then it is ruined. So, spending more on a "better" machine did not make the result any better. Also, there are no instructions for threading the machine at the beginning. I only knew what to do because of the first smaller machine i had bought. The seller was fine - it was the product sold that wasn't.

Habe diese Strickmaschine gestern erhalten. habe es gleich probiert. fein gestrickt, bis auf eine Stelle, wo die Masche verloren ging. 3-4 Mal versucht und es war die gleiche Nadel, die falsch war. habe bei google gesucht und festgestellt, dass die Nadel möglicherweise nicht richtig sitzt. Habe die Maschine aufgemacht und geprüft, ob alle Nadeln richtig sitzen und ein bisschen hin und her bewegt. versuchte noch einmal zu stricken, aber es war wieder an einer Stelle falsch. fühlte die Nadel und trennte die Maschine wieder. die Nadel gefunden und mit den anderen Nadeln verglichen. Dann sah ich, dass die anderen Nadeln spitz waren, aber diese Nadel war rund, also ist das wahrscheinlich der Grund. Ich habe die teure Maschine gekauft, um sicherzustellen, dass sie funktioniert. Die Maschine sollte brandneu sein, daher frage ich mich, ob es sich bei der Maschine um eine Rücksendung handelt. Oder nur ein Fabrikfehler.. Jetzt muss ich raus und zusätzliche Nadeln kaufen, Ich denke, es sollte funktionieren mit eine neue nadel. aber es ist schwierig, zusätzliche Nadeln zu finden. Kann sie bei amazon nicht finden.Es ist eine fantastische Maschine. und es funktioniert perfekt. Hat keine Probleme damit, dass Stiche fallen. Nur die Nadeln sind in einwandfreiem Zustand. Im Moment kann ich nur Bahnen stricken, also muss ich die Maschine vielleicht zurückschicken.

I bought this I wanted to teach my great granddaughter how to use it. I am trying to teach her Different crafts and thought she might be interested in this. I haven't been able to figure out how to start it if I can get that I think she will lie doing this But it is definitely hard to start

Super fun once it stops dropping stitches which can take at least 20 rounds. Even the middle of your project isn’t safe from potential dropping. You will go through a ton of waste yarn. This is my first knitting machine so I don’t know how common it is.
