So, I accidentally misplaced my AirPods case—whoops. Enter this little hero! It paired up with my AirPods faster than I can say “I’m an adult, I swear,” and the sync button works like a charm.

This replacement AirPods Pro (1st and 2nd Generation) charging case is a tempting alternative to the genuine article at a fraction of the £89 price tag from Apple. You will have to forgo MagSafe charging capability but wireless Qi is supported so not the end of the world. The case can also be charged via cable. In terms of wireless charging I am using a good quality reliable Belkin charger which works flawlessly on every device I have ever used, however I found this case very sensitive to positioning. It needed to be placed nice and centrally and if you slid it more than a couple of millimetres during charging it caused an error, something I’ve not experienced on other types of devices before. Clearly the wireless charging hardware in this case is not great quality.In reality I think most people could live with the minor flaws given the significant cost saving.

This charger is a great alternative to the apple charging case and at a fraction of apples price for a replacement it's a no brainer. A helpful feature of this case is that it has wireless charging. The case is quite similar to the original in finish and form and I wouldn't buy an original replacement now having this.The lid is easily opened however I have noticed it doesn't stay open as well as the original is does like to close when tilted, this isn't really a problem as the lids only opened to remove or replace the headphones.It's a great alternative.

The battery life seems just as good as the original, and the LED indicator lets me know when it's time for a top-up.The case feels well-made and fits my AirPods snugly. The Bluetooth pairing button is handy for connecting to new devices, and the compact size makes it easy to slip into my pocket or bag.While it's not quite identical to the original Apple case, it's a fantastic alternative, especially considering the price. It's brought my AirPods back to life, and I can once again enjoy my music on the go without worrying about running out of battery.
