I recently took a new job working for [NAME OF INTELLIGENCE AGENCY REDACTED]. The pay jump was great and I found comfort in knowing that my work — however invasive, however brutal — will make a real difference in the world. The only downside to my new position is that I'm out of the house a lot more. Although peace, national security and justice are of the utmost importance to me, my four-year-old cat, Vincent, sees things differently.Problems began when I'd asked my neighbour, Jeannie, to look after Vincent for a couple of weeks while I was working to engineer a military coup over in [NAME OF COUNTRY REDACTED]. I'd left Jeannie and Vincent with a solid plan: food three times a day, a daily refill of the old water bowl, and some snuggles on the couch if Jeannie had the time.I returned home to find Vince was looking a little thin. He's a creature used to his home comforts and those include a good scream for more regular feeding. Vincent had a few stern words for me and I couldn't reasonably ask Jeannie to pop round any more frequently than she had been doing. I had another trip coming up (this one a simple round of intelligence gathering regarding [NAME OF POPULAR TV WEATHER PRESENTER REDACTED]) meaning I'd be away for another week or two at minimum.I was desperate. I needed a fool-proof method to keep Vincent fed and happy while I fought long and hard to preserve life and prosperity in a world growing darker by the day. Enter Amazon and their fantastic selection of products, quickly delivered and always affordable. I purchased a timer-activated cat feeder and programmed it to fit Vincent's demanding feeding habits with zero issues. Now, here's where things get interesting. My international trips all run smoothly and the world is safer and brighter for them. I return home each time to find Vincent safe, happy, and always well fed. Then arrives the evening of Friday, 1st February.I step through my front door and am struck by the absence of my favourite furry friend. I call for Vince and eventually he emerges, slow and stiff, his eyes fixed upon my every move. I figure he must be a little under the weather, which is strange because Jeannie hadn't mentioned a word of it, so I check his feeder. What I see makes my blood run cold. His bowl is overflowing with food. A mound of cat biscuits, days' worth of them, litter the kitchen tiles surrounding the feeder. Vincent moves up behind me slowly as I inspect the feeder, searching for a fault, for some reason for him to be put off his food. Alas, the quality of the product is sound. Typical Amazon — always reliable. The fault, I deduce, is with Vincent himself.I turn to Vincent, laying a gentle hand on his fuzzy head. He's cold. His fur, ever glossy and silky soft, feels dry and hard. He doesn't pur. He doesn't move. He doesn't breathe. I look into the eyes of my four-legged companion and there I see it: a lifeless blackness, punctuated only with a crimson pin prick of infrared camera light. This is not my cat.The mouth of not-Vincent falls open, gaping and hungry, as if in some twisted imitation of my fur-born son. A spout emerges, shiny and silver, extending towards me. The world moves in slow motion as my training takes over. I've seen my fair share of micro-weaponry, most recently in my experience with [NAME OF INTERNATIONAL WAR CRIMINAL REDACTED], and I'm not going out now, not like this. I dive to my left and two darts containing [NAME OF NERVE AGENT REDACTED] impact the kitchen cupboard behind me, missing their mark. I grab hold of not-Vincent and with the strength of a panicked father, I wrench his head from his body, revealing innards of metal and sparking circuitry. It's over. Thank God.I'd like to take a second to dedicate this review to my friend and neighbour, Jeannie. She'd been round to check on Vincent and had fallen victim to his mechanical impersonator, which I believe to be the work of [NAME OF DICTATOR REDACTED]. I found her in my wardrobe, shielding a cowering Vincent with her lifeless body, four poison-tipped darts dug deep into her chest. She will always be my hero. Vince's, too.I would thoroughly recommend this cat feeder to anyone interested. It's super easy to set up, a reasonable size, and works perfectly well. I think Jeannie would say the same.5/5

this works really well, easy to program and looks nice too, only problem my cat isn't bothered by dry food currently and won't even react when a portion comes out. Hope that will change with his taste buds shifts as currently it was a waste of money for me.

I love this, it's made my life so much easier, the app is great, the features are great. The only star missing is for that I have to create my own call (the voice recording) whereas I would like just a little noise / bell / beep. But all round a great investment that's made my relationship with my cat much nicer (less hassle-hassle-feed, more stroke-stroke-cuddle).

I’m giving 3 stars for the following reasons:i) the app don’t allow to activate or deactivate a food distribution, but it’s only possible erasing and recreating itii) the food quantity supplied by each portion is too much for a small cat of 3 months.Despite the above cons, the food distributor is working well and well manufactured. Easy to install and setup.

Volveré a comentar...
