I replaced the ice maker on my whirlpool because the inner surface started falling off into the ice and water started leaking into the tray. I found this icemaker and it was a direct fit for the original and installed quickly. It took a while to start producing ice and the ice quality is excellent with no off tastes or coloration. As instructions stated I threw out the first couple batches and this icemaker continues to work well. I hope this one lasts a few years.

This works great in my bottom freezer.Whirlpool ice maker. You will have to remove the whole freezer drawer. Assembly to install. Cut out the back water flow feal bowl and use your old cutoff arm. Otherwise a wonderful replacement product.

Got this for my whirlpool 2010 side by side W10190966 the very first trouble I've ever had. Did have to change the on and off bar with my old one only because the white plastic that clips on is bigger than the new bar but no problem and in about 2 hours I guess it was dropping ice

Entregado antes de la fecha establecida. Bien empacado. Tal y como lo describe. Incluye los cables conectores y accesorios para la instalación.Ya lo instalé y estoy esperando a que inicie a funcionar porque requiere que esté a la temperatura del congelador para poder arrancar, pero todo indica que sí está muy bien el producto. El conector no es del tipo de mi refrigerador pero utilicé el cable que tenía el aparato anterior, ya que la conexión del nuevo es igual y le queda el cable anterior.La instalación es muy sencilla, no requiere mano de obra especializada ni contratar a ningún técnico. Lo único que tuve que hacer fue cortar una parte ( que ya viene previamente marcada ) en donde entra la manguera que alimenta el agua, para que se acoplara exactamente y evitar derrames.
