The saddle that came with my mountain bike, was unusually short and narrow in the nose. This is not very comfortable. This WTB saddle has a longer and wider nose and has been extremely comfortable on my bike.

I ride Wilderness Trail Bike saddles on all of my off-road bikes. This is the sixth Rocket saddle I have owned, and I ride no other on my fat tire bikes.The width (medium) is consistent and fits me perfectly. It has "thick" padding for a high-end saddle and has a shape that lends itself to upright riding and seated climbing. The cover is comfortable with durable corners that won't tear if you go down.Note that I ride a WTB El Dorado on my gravel bike. It has a similar width, but the shape and padding are amenable to the more prone position on that bike."A saddle is like the hand of god. It can raise you to pinnacle of victory or it can cast you down in defeat."

Got the rocket medium steel for moderate single track, some gravel, and a little crushed stone on my trek hard tail. Great ride right out of the box. I mean come on…under 40 bucks is an awesome deal. Quality seems really good. Just hope it lasts.
