Affordable and excellent tube sound. It is super powerful and works great with Planar Magnetics and even IEMs. If you want tubes in your life, and have balanced headphones, this is the most affordable way to have them.

実は本品が届いたときは、真空管が1本劣化して、上部が白く変色していました。その真空管は使っていない別の安物アンプから交換して対応。本体はケースとかも結構しっかり作られています。が、最初のころは肝心の音質はなんかいまいちで「まあこんなものかなー」と思っていました。なお使っているのは Hifiman の EditionXS です。ふと思いついて、手元にあった FX-AUDIO の Petit Susie を接続したら激減。それまではシングル接続で聞いてるのとあまり変わらない音だったんですが、Petit Susie とつなぐと音は全体的に明るく、くっきりと描写してくれるようになりました。ボーカルも割と近くなった気がします。Petit Susie ってちゃんと効果があるんだと認識すると同時に、本製品も1万8千円と考えるとかなりいいアンプだと評価しています。真空管でヘッドホンをバランス接続したいなら、これ一択でいいんじゃないでしょうか。その際には電源のノイズ対策もご一緒にどうぞ。

I am using the XDUOO MT-604 amp to power my Hifiman Arya headphones. My source is a HiBy R6 Pro player. I find the R6's 4.4mm balanced output superior to its single-ended output and I was looking specifically for a fully-balanced amp. The build quality of the MT-604 is very good. Everything looks and feels solid and of high quality. The sound improvement for the Aryas is quite significant. With the stock tubes, the sound signature is a touch on the darker side. I upgraded to an (inexpensive) set of GE Jan 5654 tubes, which adds a little more clarity in the upper range. This combination sounds much better than my previous set-up of feeding the R6's single-ended output into the (much more expensive) Little Dot Mark III amp with upgraded 1960s Mullard tubes. Overall, outstanding value and highly recommended.

Very nice sound coming from this little HP amp (paired with an RME ADI-2 DAC). Solid build quality as well. I'm Curious about the longevity of this unit, only time will tell. Received package in about 10 days as well which was much faster than the estimated delivery date.

I have an Emotiva Pre/Amp setup that is balanced. While the sound is really clear and holographic as is, when I added this between the 2 it added a little extra in the 3D holographic space with my X-LS Encores. Also, It allowed me to attenuate and balance the output when in home theater bypass mode. The main amp is 550W/ch and the home theater is up to 125W/ch. So this helped there as well.I would not call it night and day diff because I already put work into making it sound really good. But this little pre helped in more than just the sound. I give it a 5 star rating because it did add some improvement to the sound and its utility of adding the balance/attenuation options while maintaining a balanced connection is pretty nice.I think if I found some NOS tubes that some people recommend, it might increase the positive effect on the imaging and sound.EDIT:I put 4 matched 1950s Sylvania 6AK5 JAN CHS (black plate) tubes in and wow! Much better than the stock tubes. The 3D imaging on Bill Evans' Waltz For Debby album shocked me. I thought I was in the club where it was recorded.Setup:The album was played on a Denon DP-62L S-Arm with a good Denon DL-103D through the MC on the Emotiva XSP-1 w/load set at 470 Ohms. The speakers are custom upgraded GR-Research X-LS Encores.

Fed by an SMSL M500 DAC. So far tried it with Audio Technica ATH-WP900, Argon T60's, Hifiman Ananda and DCA Aeon Noire. The Noire's came across a little sharp, all the others paired beautifully. The T60's especially just put a gigantic smile on my face. Big, muscular, enveloping sound to fall back into and enjoy.
