Ich habe dieses DB9 9 poliges serielles Anschlusskabel für meinen Mann, der neue Pedale an seinen Computer anschließen wollte. Leider funktionierten die Pedale nicht, ich bin mir aber nicht sicher, ob es am Kabel lag, da ich nicht näher darauf eingegangen bin, welches Kabel benötigt wird. Ich habe einfach ein Kabel mit den richtigen Anschlüssen ausgewählt. Daher werde ich dem Produkt keine schlechte Bewertung geben. Vielleicht können andere Rezensenten nützlichere Informationen dazu liefern.

Wie auf den Bildern in der Artikelbeschreibung ersichtlich, sind die Adern gekreuzt weshalb dieses Kabel nicht als Verlängerung benutzt werden kann!Die Gender-changer sind ein hilfreiches Extra, da nicht immer alle gegenstellen den passenden Anschluss haben.Endbewertung:Für ~11€ kann man sich das Kabel bedenkenlos in die Schublade legen und wenn man es 1-2x im Jahr benötigt ist es griffbereit.

I got these as I needed DB9 cables to connect my car diagnostic kit to my laptop. The cables are long, each comes with male to male DB9 adapter. Both cables are of good quality build and did the job of connecting my laptop to my car diagnostic kit. Good value for money.

This is a really confused product listing, in some parts of the listing, it correctly states its for DB9 / RS232, but in other places, it says VGA (which would be DB15), its definitely not a VGA cable. The listing also states that its a cross-over cable / null modem cable, again it is not, its a straight through cable, wired 1:1, as verified by my multi-meter.Forgetting the listing and just looking at the product provided, its a fairly standard 1 meter long, DB9 male to DB9 male extension cable, it has moulded plugs with thumb screw terminals and is wired 1:1, so far, so good.What looks out of place though is the diameter of the main cable, its very thin, measuring only 5mm, which clearly is not very much space to get 10 individual cables (9 pins and screen), with each of them being individually insulated, plus on top of that there is the main outer sheath. Checking the text on the outside of the cable, it states its 30AWG, which means that the wires are only 0.254mm in diameter, this is tiny and will cause a couple of issues.1. The cable will be very brittle and break over time as there is nothing to absorb the natural movement of the cable through its life.2. The voltage drops and impact on signal fidelity on what could be a +/-12V signal, will result in nasty signals between the two devices. Trying to use this cable on anything other than low data rates will result in problems.In addition to the cable, two female to female gender changers are provided, they allow you to modify the cable to make it male to female, or by using both, to a female to female cable, they are fine and work as expected. They also have screw posts on both sides allowing the cables to be secure fixed together, they would have to be unscrewed if you want to plug into something like a bulkhead, however a flat screw head is present to help in removing one of the posts if required.Given the very thin cable diameters, I can't recommend this cable.
