I used this to convert a USB 3.2 motherboard header on a Gigabyte B760M DS3H DDR4 to a USB C front panel connector. It worked but was incredibly tight in the header socket! I had to remove it once during system assembly and I was afraid I was going to break the motherboard!

This Item is exactly as shown in the images. I haven't installed this item yet but have previously used the USB3 header to E-Key previously and it worked fine. I would imagine that speeds will be dependent on the type of USB 3 type A socket you plug it into.

Nach vielen Tests bin zu dem Schluss gekommen, das hier einfach mit den sehr verwirrenden Bezeichnungen der USB Anschlüsse Marketing betrieben wird.Ich konnte keinen signifikanten Leistungszuwachs feststellen.Keine Kaufempfehlung

Motherboard would not boot with part installed. I tried it on 3 different PC's did not work on any of them

4/5 weil der Adapter ziemlich sperrig is. Da stößt man leicht an Gehäuse Grenzen. Mit kurzer USB Verlängerung aber brauchbar. E-Key nicht genutzt bisher. Nur USB 20pin Teil.4/5 cause the adapter is rather large. Better have a short usb extension at hand. E-Key not tested. Only the USB 20pin part.

For once, a product that does exactly what it says. This product comes in two pieces. The large piece the plugs into the USB type A port and the converter chip/socket that turns it into a Type-E connection. I threw the converter piece in my parts box. I'm using this to convert the on-board USB3.0 header on a server motherboard to a USB 3.0 front panel case connection. Works perfectly.

I haven't tested the full sped it can reach but it connects, powers and transfers to a USB-c hub so it serves purpose well.
