This is very solidly made.It's constructed from sort of high density plastic that feels almost like aluminiumFlexible tube grip means I can attach this to a variety of surfaces, from a mic stand to a table.~The mechanism allows great flexibility in adjusting the angle of your device.~The adjustable grip mechanisms have metal threads and give a very firm hold as it they are easy to tighten down hard.~The ball head attachment comes with a standard screw that will fit camera threads and the included phone mount.~The included clamp phone holder grips the phone tightly~The GoPro adapter makes this even more flexible.There are, however, a couple of potential risks you need to be aware of:1] The central adjustment screw on the arm, while easy to clamp down hard, releases BOTH ball-head clamps [one at each end], so unless you remember to leave enough friction/tightness to hold them in place while you adjust them manually, everything can slip out of alignment.So, if there is something heavy [e.g. a camera] mounted on the 1/4" screw mount, the mount can swivel and the whole arm can drop.2] I would be slightly wary of using this to attach a device to a moving object [like a bike or a car], as sudden changes in momentum [or in the case of a bike, bumps in the terrain] could cause the whole thing to move. In the case of the phone holder, which is firmly spring loaded, a sharp jolt MIGHT just cause the jaws to release. So if you're planning to use this in that sort of situation, some sort of additional safety tether might be a good idea.The above issues are NOT a problem restricted to this model, but apply to ALL devices that use the "magic arm" clamping mechanism.All that being said, this is a well-made and versatile mount with a lot of flexibility, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it

A really useful camera mount. It comes with fittings that suit most cameras and phones.It’s solidly built, the stem part is spring loaded to make swapping heads easier.For me the best part is the clamp. I have similar mounts to fit on my motorcycle but they all use a U bolt and nuts to fasten them in place. The clamp makes it quick and easy to swap mounting places to vary your camera’s positions.Once tightened all the joints are really firm.. A good camera mount.

This comes in small presentation type box with the three assorted accessories as listed. It’s made of decent quality aluminium and durable plastic parts where appropriate plus a rubber ribbed area for gripping. However, I can’t find any reference to a weight limit or rather a recommended maximum weight it will take. It has a great potential for supporting assorted photographic accessories etc. but pay attention to the possible weight limitations as outlined above as in don’t overload it. The operations of it are simple enough: there are just two adjustments that require tightening up, one for the gripping action, which is quite strong by the way, plus one to set the angle for the device as chosen. I am using it on a tripod leg to hold a field monitor for my camcorder and it works quite well, as once its ‘locked on’ to the chosen leg, it was a doddle to set the angle for the monitor. Being the size that it is makes it quite compact and easy to stow in my holdall. It’s robust, well made and easy to stow plus being very versatile with the selection of differing heads supplied.

Incredibly strong and sturdy, I was surprised at how solidly it clamps to a handlebar or similar and how well it held whatever you fixed to it (phone, action camera or whatever).This will not move or let you down if set properly.So much better than any of the flimsy cheaper ones on the market.

One can never have too many of these, particularly if, like me, you do multi camera shoots.This is more than capable enough to support the kit I intend it for which includes medium sized field monitors and cameras up to and including the Sony FX 3 fully rigged.How I Rate- ***** Don’t think, just buy it!- **** Nothing to complain about, I’d spend my own money on this.- *** Does what it should but there may be better alternatives- ** Problems or issues encountered that outweigh any benefits.- * Run for the door!
