It has one job and it looks good doing it. I like the slightly glossy finish. I'm all for the modern minimalist look, and this is perfect. I've never been disappointed with this brand.

This black banana stand by Yamazaki is a great addition to my kitchen and requires no assembly! I love the simple lines and compact footprint; it has a stable base, a modern design and an elegant look, which works perfectly for my kitchen and fits the overall aesthetic of my home. I toggled back and forth about the price, not wanting to spend so much, but I'm glad I made the purchase! I typically buy bananas weekly to drink with smoothies and different breakfast items, and was tired of the bananas getting bruised or ripening too fast because they were stored in a cabinet or on the counter. Now I'm able to keep the bananas hanging on my countertop, which ensures plenty of airflow as well as the cost-savings of not having to trash mushy bananas. So, if you're looking for a simple, yet attractive and efficient banana stand that keeps your counters clutter-free, this is definitely a great option and a must try!

My son has a rather expensive pair of headphones and rather than lay them down on their side he wanted to hang them up. This banana stand makes a very elegant headphone stand without specifically looking like it's made for bananas. They hold the headphones high enough, it doesn't take up too much space, and it's an inexpensive alternative to actual headphones stands.
