If you use this as a ring light, it’s pretty awesome. I think it does a much better job than my traditional ring light – I think the rectangular shape of the light does a much better job of illuminating than a round light does… at least if you’re using a phone (as opposed to a camera). The balance is pretty good, even when it’s in its tallest position in the so-called “Floor” mode. It has an excellent range of lighting modes and brightnesses, which makes it pretty versatile for if you’re in a zoom meeting, or for taking pictures.What I didn’t like it for was its capacity as a selfie stick. I don’t know if it’s just me, but I had so much difficulty with holding it aloft… it’s so stinking heavy! Still, it does work pretty well, and I had no trouble setting up the bluetooth. There’s also no delay with the remote. So, overall, I think it’s a pretty good device to have on hand.

This tripod is very lightweight and comes with the selfie light attached, which means one less thing to worry about or carry. It charges with a usb-c cord and has adjustable settings to find the most flattering light for the occasion. The light comes from all around the camera, so gives an even illumination softening harsh shadows. The base is low and wide so feels stable when using as a tripod, and I like having the option to use it as a selfie stick. It extends up to 75 inches so is very versatile. The only slightly annoying thing is actually using it. When inserting and removing my phone, the fit is almost too tight on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. It pinches my fingers when I try to remove it and I’m always careful for fear of breaking it.

It also have great battery life on a full charge.
