Das Go Spiel ist ein "Kontroll- und Fangspiel", das vor etwa 2,500 Jahren in China erfunden wurde. Es handelt sich um eines der ältesten Spiele, das noch in seiner ursprünglichen Form gespielt wird.
Dieses wendbare Go-Spielbrett besteht aus massiven Bambusstreifen und weist sowohl eine hohe Zugfestigkeit als auch anmutige Linien auf.

Wunderschönes, gut verpacktes Brett. Die Verarbeitung sowohl des Bretts als auch der Steine ist hervorragend. Ich bin absolut zufrieden. Sowohl das 19 × 19, als auch das 13 × 13 Feld auf der Rückseite sind extrem schön anzusehen. Würde es jedem Go-Liebhaber empfehlen.

Wow, this is the most beautiful functional item I have bought in a long time - worth every penny. From the perfect, secure packaging, the felt storage bag and high-quality zip bag for the bowls, to the items themselves - everything is the highest quality. Board and bowls are bamboo, of immaculate workmanship. A real impetus to move to the next stage - learning the game!!

With a set like this, who needs (shin)kaya and yunzi? The melamine stones have a nice feel to them and are a good size. The board is hefty and has a nice finish to it, the grid is also centered without any defects. I thought the grain would be distracting, but it really isn't. The bowls are really nice, too. They come with straps to keep them from spilling, and the bag is a very nice addition for transport and storing. I thought the case for the board would be made of cheap vinyl, but it's felt that closes with a velcro. Still better than nothing as I can protect my board. Worth the money.

Received the GO set with the Bamboo board, Bamboo bowls and Melamine stones in a nice large box well packaged and undamaged. All the products I have received from Yellow Mountain have been exactly as described. In this Holiday shopping season receiving the ordered products on time and in good condition is wonderful. The set is as advertised.The Bamboo Go board is heavy for its 0.8 inch thickness. It carries a heft that is nice. This board will be used as a travel board when going to a GO Club. I do not mind the weight although there are lighter options for a travel board. The layered bamboo wood is well constructed without cracks or blemishes. Very nice indeed. Bamboo is a fairly hard wood and should hold up to rough club use. It comes with a very nice felt cover which a real plus.The bowels are nice and a very good value at this set price point. The Melamine stones are really a good size although a bit light for my taste but will serve very well as a travel companion with the board. The stones and bowels come with a super carry bag with the Yellow Mountain logo on the front. The Bowls come with velcro straps which is a nice touch.I highly recommend this board for someone that is more than just interested in GO. There are cheaper beginner sets but this one is a real keeper so keep that in mind if you want something that you can use for a long while and not be disappointed. I will revisit this review after a few months of travel and use.
