My daughter is totally in to unicorns at the moment. She is also approaching time-telling age and wanted her first alarm clock. Unfortunately, what I was hoping would be a perfect fit is actually return-worthy. The face of the alarm clock is supposed to be glued to the "head". After it's first night out of the box, the face was popping off the head (still untouched by my daughter). Maybe it was due to the temperature difference, acclimating to my house. Maybe it's cheap glue and poor manufacturing. Either way it's a safety hazard and completely unacceptable, specifically for a children's item. In addition, the face goes off and on when you touch the clock. Either this is a horrible setting forcing you to walk to the clock and touch it to see the time, or another technical shortcoming. The cute, soft light or the nice alarm sounds no longer hold value if the item is defective, therefore the single-star rating.
