Having been informed by the manufacturer that my garden multi-tool was obsolete and that they were unable to supply a replacement pull start mechanism, I found this generic item.All the dimensions appeared to match the original, so thought I'd give it a try. It took a couple of weeks to arrive and was a perfect match. I have used it several times and it works just fine, although I am being very careful when pulling as I don't want to repeat the original failure, which stripped the edges of the nylon lugs that engage the motor shaft.Time will tell how robust this item is, but it has allowed me to continue using the machine and the cost was minimal and excellent value.
