Perfect size for children. My 6 yr old loves it. Much better that the adult size paddles that come with even the smaller paddle boards.

This paddle fits my daughter (50" tall) just perfectly, and I love that it is adjustable with her height as she grows. I love the bright color as well. The only thing I will note is that the weight is much heavier than I expected. Even the stock adult paddles I have are lighter than this youth paddle. Overall, it works for us!

It is a durable paddle. I use it for a sup school at the Ocean the whole year. It's a little heavy and it doesn't float more than a minute but is very resistant, look nice and kids love it. I used it for kids around 7, 8, 9 or 10 years old. I am waiting for this company to make some carbon paddles for kids of that age or even for the little ones from 3 to 6. For older I have my racing ones.I have this paddles for more than 2 years already of very hard use but taking care of them.If you wash the paddles after use, adjust size with care and keep the paddle on the water... you are going to be happy.

The paddle is relatively well constructed, although the lock for the length adjustment isn't as tight as I'd like it to be. I'm sure you can tighten it, but I can't say for sure because ours is at the bottom of the lake.No, it doesn't float, despite what others have said.However it was cheap and I'm considering buying another. I'll probably stuff some styrofoam in the handle on the next one to make sure the kids don't lose another one.
