I installed this on a 2019 Road Glide and it took me about 8 times as long as it should have because I had to modify the parts to fit. First of all, the main metal piece fits as expected. The problem was with the included bolt. It was literally twice as long as it should have been. If you look at the pictures and then look at other comparable parts on Amazon, you'll see that some of them come with much shorter bolts. As a result, I couldn't get it all together until I cut the bolt in half. I should not have had to do this, but it worked.Secondly, the top part where the shift linkage connects does not seem to be threaded properly. I had to apply enough force with the wrench when screwing it in, that I felt like I was stripping the bolt on the linkage. I even stopped and restarted several times to make sure I wasn't cross threaded.In the end, I was able to get it installed, but if you have a bagger, you might want to look elsewhere.Now as to the functionality: This does work. It definitely is easier to shift into neutral, but there's a reason for that. It essentially lengthened the shift. So, it takes more movement to shift into gears when you're upshifting. So, when you go to shift into neutral, you're essentially half shifting. The movement that you normally would have used to put it into 2nd gear on accident smoothly shifts it into neutral instead. But when you're going down the road, you have to move your toe a considerable amount more to upshift.Is it worth the trade-off? I'm on the fence. But I'm also a little afraid to try and take this thing apart again given what I had to do to get it together.
