No issues, glass did break as planned. The glass was stitched inside a fabric pouch and kepted all glass contained. Outer presentation bag was of decent quality.

This decorative velvet bag contains yet another further protective cloth bag that is sewn shut to keep all glass shards contained after use.The bag is a beautiful way of adhering to the Jewish wedding tradition of “breaking the glass.” After I completely finished with the project described below, I washed the outer bag and plan to offer it to the bridal couple as a souvenir.[ I had purchased a mezuzah to present to the wedding couple, which had an empty column next to the scroll, into which the glass shards could be placed. To access the shards, I cut open a few stitches on the inner bag.I had to step on the bag a few more times to crush the glass into pieces that were small enough to fit into the mezuzah opening. ]

This is the perfect glass to stomp on for a wedding! It’s thin so it won’t ruin your ankle. It’s got a thick bag around it so it protects you from shards of glass. It’s navy and the glass has a slight cool color tint to it!
