These are a great quality brush .For oil painting they flow quite well and much better than a standard synthetic brush as the bristles are firmer (but softer than hog bristle)

I use these brushes all the time, Simmons don’t make the Expressions filbert rushes any more but these are a great substitute.

I paint with acrylics and get tired of brushes that start losing their shape or have bristles getting loose, etc. This brush is holding up quite well.

I've been using this brush for awhile and I can tell you it's not worth it's price. I bought value pack brushes that are better. Thought it was ok until I used one of my cheaper brushes recently. This brush should be in a pack of 3 for 5 bucks, at least a 2 pack
