I like the built quality of the Vecbmn USB hub with Ethernet port it seems sturdy. I also like that the hub comes with a USB A adapter. The Ethernet port is up to 1000mps. The hub has 3 USB A ports and 1 USB C port. It claims to have a high file transfer rate. However, I’ve not tried to transfer files. I’ve been using it to connect Ethernet, mouse, and keyboard.

I got this combo hub to serve as a combination breakout USB 3 Hub and Ethernet Adapter for the sole USB-C port that I have on a Windows 10 Tablet.The hub arrived in a neat cardboard box. No manual was included but it’s pretty much plug and play anyway.The hub has a nice gunmetal grey aluminium case. There’s a 15cm/6” cable attached which has a handy and sturdy aluminium clad captive USB A to C adapter integrated. The overall hub is very lightweight and compact for portability.The hub part has 3 USB-A ports and a single USB-C port which can be used for data connection and/or power delivery.Plugging the hub into the tablet gave an instantly recognised Realtek Gbe Ethernet Port, no driver hassles, just simple plug and play.To test the data capability, I plugged the hub’s cable into the USB C port on the tablet. I connected a Samsung 990 Pro NVMe drive contained within a NVMe enclosure (10Gbps rated) via a 100cm/39” Ult-Wiiq branded USB-A to C cable (also 10Gbps rated). With direct plugging (bypassing the hub) the baseline data transfer rate (READ) achieved using Crystal DiskMark was ~458 MB/s (~3.67Gbps). Plugged in via a USB-A port on the hub with the 1m cable, I got 456MB/s – a negligible drop in performance. I repeated the test but plugged the drive via the hub’s USB-C port with a V2olt USB C-C cable and got a dismal ~40MB/s. Thinking it might be the cable, I swapped the USB C cable for a USB4 rated one and still got the same dismal ~40MB/s, so the USB C port on the hub is not recommended for data transfer. I didn’t test the power transfer of the USB C port but can only hope that its power performance is better than its data performance.Pros 👍:✔️ Good breakout of 5Gbps data transfer to up to 3x 5Gbps ports (3 USB-A)✔️ Useful Gbe Ethernet connection✔️ Respectable data transfer rate (USB A only)✔️ Lightweight and compactCons👎:❌ USB-C port on hub not recommended for data transfer.In Summary, a useful combination USB A hub with good data transfer rates and the added bonus of Ethernet Connectivity and PD power transfer. Great if you have just the one USB C port on your tablet.

Habe diese Dockingstation für meine Freundin gekauft für die LAN-Verbindung ihres Laptops. Das Produkt macht einen guten und wertigen Eindruck und die zusätzlichen Anschlüssen sind super praktisch. Erfüllt absolut seinen Zweck und funktioniert einwandfrei👌🏻Eine super Dockingstation für einen kleinen Preis, sehr zu empfehlen ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Este adaptador se ha vuelto esencial en mi día a día en la oficina. Mi Mac tiene pocas conexiones, y con este hub he solucionado el problema de golpe. Ahora tengo más puertos y una conexión a Internet por cable súper estable.✅ Pros: Conectividad completa: 3 puertos USB 3.0, 1 puerto USB-C y conexión Ethernet. ¡Todo lo que necesitaba! Velocidad top: La conexión Gigabit Ethernet va como un tiro, perfecta para videollamadas y transferencias de archivos pesados. Diseño sólido: El cuerpo de aluminio se siente resistente y ayuda a disipar el calor. Compatibilidad total: Funciona a la perfección en mi Mac sin instalar nada. Además, también va bien con Windows y Linux.⚠️ Contras: El cable podría ser un poco más largo para mayor comodidad, pero nada grave.🎯 Veredicto final:Si tienes un Mac o cualquier portátil con USB-C y necesitas más conexiones, este adaptador Vecbmn es un acierto seguro. Por su precio, calidad y rendimiento, lo recomiendo sin duda. ¡Imprescindible para la oficina! 👌🔥

It works as advertised - metal construction - hopefully will last longer than my last cheapie plastic one.
