This is a very reliable device. At present I am using it with a quad bike. I can confirm that it was easy to mount it. Very easy to conect to phone. Display size is really good. Connection between phone and satnav/ car play is reliable as well. Great device.

PROS-excellent clear screen-easy to mount and power (happily, it’ll mount on a non-BMW bike too, though it’s _much_ more easily integrated with a BMW)-can connect directly to bluetooth headphones (or connect with a phone in-between)-Siri integration works pretty well (though it can be a bit confused by high wind noise)-solid construction-very solid mount-weatherproof-pairs quickly every time I start my bikeCONS-faffy to get set up and talking to my phone and headphones-not easy to dismount, which means I need it leave it, and it’s more vulnerable to theft-speaker is weedy (I use headphones anyway)NOTES-this is _so_ much better than using my phone (in a waterproof case)MY STAR RATINGS:1* substandard, mostly cons2** barely acceptable, cons outweigh the pros3*** meets the basic requirements, cons balance the pros4**** good product, pros outweigh the cons5***** exceptional, all (or almost all) pros

This is the second Carpuride motorcycle tablet I've tested, this one being specific to several models, R1200GS, S1000XR etc.. The mounting system is great, the unit feels like a piece of factory fit equipment when installed, and can be quickly/simply snapped in and out of place. Worth noting that it can be mounted to any machine though, you just have to create your own mounting system.The screen is bright and high contrast, very easy to see, and it has an integrated visor to help block some ambient light. It's responsive to touch, there's a tiny bit of lag to it, but it's easy to live with. One major feature that this offers over many/most similar products. This has two-way Bluetooth, so it can be connected to receive data from your phone, whilst simultaneously transmitting data to your headset.Despite the silly name, Carpuride are actually distinguishing themselves as a quality manufacture of these type of devices. There are a lot of generic Chinese brands but Carpuride are competing on a whole different level. I have used modern systems from Kenwood and Pioneer, significantly more expensive systems, yet I rate the Carpuride products I've tested higher.. I think the well-known manufacturers have had the market to themselves for so long that they're just resting on their laurels, but now they have a major competitor.
