Die kleine Öffnung an einem Ende und das feine Fadenkreuz am anderen Ende erleichtern das Ausrichten. Das Kollimation-Okular ist präziser als das einfache Kollimationsinstrument.

This works well for collimating your telescope, which was rather intimidating. I had read there can be problems with laser collimators, so I bought this. After reading and watching numerous instructional tutorials, I tackled my scope and successfully collimated it.

I was of mixed opinion whether to buy a laser collimator. However, after using this collimator to collimate my 10" Dob I found that the images seen are now more crisp and in finder detail. The first thing I did after receiving the item was to check that is was collimated correctly and it was good to see that I did not have to adjust it. Would buy again.

I needed to check the collimation of my SCT (Meade LX90) and my Celestron C8-N. This alloowed me to collimate both very rapidly and very accurately - now my images no longer look like the first ones from Hubble or Mr Magoo took them.Very simple to use, aluminium body, robust and comes with a handy case. Considering the cost of some collimation units, this is simple, easy, inexpensive and accurate . Highly recommended.

Quality is good. The wires that form the X on mine were about a 1mm off center, but you can try bending, although im hesitant to do so, afraid of breaking them off. But most importantly, it does what supposed is supposed to do, which is to center the secondary in the focuser, collimate the tilt of secondary and primary. If this is your first collimation device, then this is what you need. Dont buy a laser first, youll mess up more than fix your accuracy.
