Please note : this will ONLY work with a 2023.5 + cvo ,this will not work with any new non cvo touring bike I'm positive as I own both and this will not work on my 2024 Road Glide but works perfectly on my 2024 cvo street glide ( pictured) I am very bothered by the fact that this rather expensive motorcycle did not come with carplay unless we"trick " the system by using the headset that comes with the cvo ,the good thing is this adapter remedies that in less than three mins ,its real simple remove your seat and take the rubber cover over the plug ( pictured) once you plug in this adapter simply pair it via the bikes bluetooth and there's nothing else you need to do ,every time I've started the bike this has paired automatically and be slightly patient usually less than one minute and the carplay screen pops up automatically ,this adapter now makes carplay use simple ,that way it should be

My new Street Glide already has plug-in options to receive control from Android Auto and, of course, the default Harley system, which works OK, but I wanted Carplay as well. This gave me Apple Carplay including the app on the head unit letting me operate it from my controls on the handlebars, which was very welcome and make it easy to use.Installation is very quick, with the standard 12-pin plug-in fitting perfectly. Only issue was some dismantlement to get to the harness, but it's not too bad in a Street Glide, and once plugged in it stays secure and tucks away where it can't get damaged. The Bluetooth connection is pretty long range - such that I can have the phone anywhere in my pocket, or on the bike somewhere, and it runs fine controlled on the master head unit screen.It's a clever work-around to give a lot better flexibility to use Apple's Carplay with my newer Harley and I'm happy with it. I think it's a great value for money and I definitely recommend it.
